Mate you will lose the benefit of having an extra bat through all the byes that the second guy will let through.

BB I was arguing the same point with Darren about my youth team last week. He said that a year's worth of sponsorship and experience in Div 1 will do more for the team than throwing it.

For me it didn't matter but I'd go for the win

Yeah I will try and win- the season of div 1 exp should do my 20 yr olds a world of good.

Really doesn't matter Cyrus if you finish first or second since you are moving to Scotland after this game. The only difference it would make would be getting an extra 6k prize money for finishing first instead of second

Fair enough, but in that case I would play the keeper. Not much worse than the other guy at batting and as someone else said you will concede a lot of byes playing that other guy as keeper

My game has no interest for me apart from the value of smashing around a 40k bot on a flat if I can bat first (which I have a 66% chance of doing). The important game for me is between the teams in 1st and 2nd. If 2nd lose then I promote to div 3, if they somehow pull off a win I stay in 4. The team in first should win considering when you look at the highest rating matches for the season they hold the firs 13 spots on the table!

Today, proud SE Melbourne Thunder Dogs manager MasterQ announced the induction of Beni Puja and Sunil Peirce to the club's Hall of Fame. Puja, 23 and Peirce, 22 join William Alleyne as members of the exclusive club. Puja and Peirce have been key members of the squad ever since they were bought, batting at No.3 and 4 respectively and winning many games thanks to their amazing individual performances and strong partnerships. MasterQ ended with a thank you and said he looks forward to watching them play for the club in the future.
