27.4   .   Matin to Crane : [dropped] Crane drives upishly into the covers. Alam dives forward, but spills the ball when his elbows hit the deck. A nice change of pace from Matin, but Crane survives.

Bet you're happy they can't catch now cic ;)

yeah well im thinking that i could have got away with Crane opening

but i would have been expecting too much of him to bat for 40 overs........

this was the next ball after the drop  8)

27.5 4 Matin to Crane : Full on the pads, too full really and Crane whips lustily through mid wicket for four.

28.4   W   Narayan to Crane : Crane is out, slicing Narayan straight to cover where Higgins takes the simplest of catches.
B. Crane c D. Higgins b. D. Narayan 28 (17b 5x4 0x6) SR:164.71

THE DREAM IS OVER  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

thinking of selling him now actually

CrowsFan

Will now only finish with an average of 92.68.
To be honest cic he shouldn't be going in to your senior team. Only poor experience and not even rel/rel.

I'll be selling Robert Donfeld a few weeks in to next season. You should go for him ;)

should i put crane up now? or wait until everyone has their monies?

i was going to reward him if he made it to 100 average

End of over 33 (23 runs) - Cicjose(285-4) RR 8.64

A. Alley 29 (17b) , G. Backstrom 33 (15b) , K. Martin 1-0-23-0

That is the 50 partnership (50 runs, 27b, 6x4, 1x6) SR:185.19

32.6   1   K. Martin to Backstrom : K. Martin a bit too short there, Backstrom paddles it down to fine leg for a single.

32.5   4   K. Martin to Backstrom : A wonderful back foot punch through the covers, supreme timing on that and the ball races to the boundary.

32.4   4   K. Martin to Backstrom : [misfield] Square cut from Backstrom. A fantastic dive from Garrett, absolutely superb but just a shame he dived right over it.

32.3   4   K. Martin to Backstrom : Short and wide outside off. Backstrom just stood on his tiptoes and smashed it over point to the boundary.

32.2   4   K. Martin to Backstrom : Makes room and flays this over backward point for four. Fierce strike!

32.1   6   K. Martin to Backstrom : That has gone very, very high up. The fielder waits underneath it at long on, but it just clears his outstretched hands.

That is the 100 partnership (101 runs, 53b, 12x4, 2x6) SR:190.57

i would need Backstrom to repeat the 33rd over for him to get a ton

CrowsFan

If you put him up now everyone will have gotten their money by the time he sells ;)

Won my match by 67 runs to remain undefeated throughout the youth season :)

Restricted them to 9 for 217 chasing my total of 6 for 284.

Man of the Match
3. Jimmy Wilkinson - A blistering 68 not out from just 40 balls, plus 3 catches in the field. Showed the oldies how it's done!
2. Rhett Maloney - A great performance in his final youth match before moving up to my seniors. 4 for 30 from 8 overs.
1. Kaden Temiz - Just like Maloney he finished his youth career in style, scoring 77 runs from 75 balls. Also got a run out. He will also remain a Matador as he moves to my senior list.

Losing just 3 players from that team, but they are the 3 best players I have had so far in youths so will be missed sorely.
Playing a full strength team tomorrow against BP so I can crack the 100k mark (hopefully) :D

Nah I wouldn't keep him either cos he is the same as Crane

Cicjose

but he should sell right?

CrowsFan

THey should sell, but you wont get heaps for them

Cicjose

i got 37K for a guy who averaged 90 as a 20yr old with worse skills than Crane

so i would like some noobs to at least have a bidding war like that for Crane

good game HP you had me worried there a bit

and finally cracked the 100k mark with the last game of the season
finished top in div 2.2 so off to div 1 next season
too bad i don't rate to highly without my 19 year olds and i'm gonna get smashed...lol...oh well i'll take the extra experience and sponsorship and hopefully starve off relegation and if not at least when i drop back into 2 my rebuilding will be further along so maybe i  can jump back up

Played U18 last night, so with a form drop, should rate low 70's to start off next season. Not too bad with only 2 19yo's. Can't wait for the season after.

At least next season will be more interesting.

AFEV

Got up for the win last night, despite being outrated/using 'suggested lineup' but I've still missed out on promotion - NRR being the difference in the end.
Not really that bothered, I was just happy to see Gregory O'Meagher & Brendan Blaxland finish their careers on a high note.
They opened together and they both performed well, making 62 and 117 respectively.

That 117 from Blaxy means that he's my first ever youth to make 2500 (YOD) runs.

Master Q

Easy win...
