I highly doubt whether you would close the tech gap on Sambandam. I had a fasty with the same tech gap and he was gifted in tech as well. Because you will inevitably have to train fielding (which trains tech too) it will be impossible to close his tech gap IMO.

Shane Roberts  is back up on the market with a listing price of $130k if anyone is interested.

pity he is not up till EOS i would probably go after him than. I haven't got the cash at the moment.

Well if he doesn't sell for $130k he will go up on Friday night for $0, along with Sepala Kumarasinghe.

Pffft just go for it, it's just an average. If he gets out, he gets out. What pitch is it today?

Hard which makes me think if i had him open it would be good for him

but im not sure his endo would allow him to bat the full 40 overs

Maca if I leave alone Ronan O'Brien will you (and everyone else) leave this guy alone?

PowerBug

Got my game starting in fifteen minutes, but i think there's a glitch with the crowd. A good glitch :)

8-6 Suited

No there isn't. You are playing a guy who registered and has been playing since 2007.

Just got on, disappointed I didn't set orders as it would have been a good game to end the season :)

Anybody think I could close the tech gap on Ashis Sambandam?
I'm thinking I'll go for someone else instead (nice young spinner) because with that talent......... :|
Might go for Omari Gilette instead.

EDIT: Going to 200k for Omari Gilette & 250k for Ronan O'Brien then I'll use the money from Currie/PM to get my seamer :P

EDIT again: Maca has the leading bid on O'Brien, I'll only tart bidding if/once he goes past your max- what is it?
My max is about 200k.

Cilian Hughes needed 4 wickets today (on a flat) to be eligible for bowling average/strike rate trophies... As the minimum is 10 wickets... He had taken 6 wickets from his 3 matches previous. I was optimistic that he could do it against the bottom team in the youth league, in what will be his last ever youth match...

However he performed above and beyond the call of duty :)

End of over 24 (maiden) - JulesXI(136-10). 246 runs required from 16 overs. RR 5.67 RRR 15.38
J. Harvey 0 (1b), C. Hughes 7.1-1-29-7

Great effort on a flat young man! I'm highly impressed!

With this performance he will receive no.1 bowling SR and no.1 bowling ave. Great work son.

PowerBug

I made 218 on a crumbler/sunny. Ongola made a half ton, and george gun chipped in nicely with 44 off 25. The one thing i'll like about my youths next season is i'll have 9 players who could easily bowl in my div, with a mixture of seam and spin. :)

CrowsFan

Why would you want 9 bowlers?

Batting first on a flat at home in front of 4,632 fans for the final youth game of the season.
