Trying to help my batsmen win the no.1/no.2 bats for SOD... Playing against a bot on a flat... should be easy runs...

1.2   W   Talukhdar to Simon : Edged and out! Caught rather easily in the end. Orr moved slightly to his right and watched the ball drop nicely into his gloves.
R. Simon c N. Orr b. A. Talukhdar 8 (6b 1x4 0x6) SR:133.33

Really Simon?  ::) You were set to D... 8 off 6 isn't cool.

PowerBug

Nails, don't blow your budget mate. Get those acadamies up another level first. I'm preparing for big have takings today, opponent has 12k stadium capacity.

cookie311993

You need to fill the stadium first and being away you wont receive much of the total gate takings

PowerBug

True, but i think that 8k at least will turn up coz both our teams don't lose much. :)

About time you boys got a move on.

It will all depend on both supporter bases and the weather PB. Humid weather might not attract to many fans to the game, unlucky for you tomorrow is sunny which normally brings a big crowd to the game, if only it came 1 day earlier. However I think that the fact it is a top of the table match gives more hope of a decent size crowd

PowerBug

That's what i hope too. But the humid weather and his selection of a crumbler gives of more hope of an upset. Very unlikely but i have to be hopeful. :)

Simon out for 8... luckily 2nd and 3rd for highest bat got out for 13 and 70 respectively...

McDonald now working his way into 1st/2nd if he can

Live most runs scored total:

Simon 777
Engelbert 731
Schoonhoven 712
McDonald 658*

Fielding/Keeping:   10,652   13,231 (he ourated me)
Overall:   193,341   205,601

Match ratings against Wookie last night. He continues to have the edge over me and kinda pissed in the 3 matches we have played I am yet to get one that favours me.

Given that we each outrated each other on 3 times the big difference in match rating must come down to the fielding skills of my team. No wonder why it is my major focus of training to improve

Drinks and then after drinks... Bots shouldn't be getting so lucky. McDonald came out after drinks, dropped on 2nd ball, caught on the 5th.

Just wasn't the same :( bit annoyed now :( This is a flat, not a sticky!

Maca24

Heppell popped to Outs batting last night.
I reckon he was worth it :P

Nails, please don't buy anyone until EOS. You will really regret it mate.
You should also be looking for younger guys as you have enough oldies.
Oh, and CHRISTIE! ;)

Nails

I only have 3 oldies and they're all bowlers. I could do with an old bat...

What I was thinking was... young batters for now, old bowlers... then once my batters are getting old, I'll buy young bowlers...

And yes Christie is finally doing something ;)

End of over 36 (14 runs) - The Nailers(304-3) RR 8.44

@Maca

That is 200 runs for Christie (201 runs, 135b, 24x4, 0x6) SR:148.89
43.4   2   Roy to Christie : Delicately played wide of backward point and they sprint back for a second as Amin runs round to tidy up on the boundary.

Christie's first ever double ton :) - about time he was useful.

   That is 100 runs for Sweeney (100 runs, 55b, 14x4, 0x6) SR:181.82
42.4   4   Sachdev to Sweeney : Poor ball that just sits up begging to be spanked. Sweeney duly obliges with a brutal drive to the fence.

Sweeney's previous highscore in T20/SOD was a measly 47... he eclipsed that today :)

EDIT: very next ball after I posted that...

43.5   W   Roy to Christie : Christie goes for the drive and ends up hitting it in the air towards point. He didn't get his foot to the pitch of the ball but went through with the shot. Kumar swoops forward and takes it inches from the ground.
M. Christie c D. Kumar b. A. Roy 201 (136b 24x4 0x6) SR:147.79
