My academy is only at reas :( - instead of developing it I've been using that money to impulse buy...

I was trying to save my $$$ so after PM I was going to have $300-400K to go on a shopping spree...

Buying Hussain obviously put a spanner in those works.

Hopefully Bubb sells for a lot of money...

Getting 94% of his sale price... and I got him for 2K :) he's already at 2K and only been up since ~6pm IIRC.

You just need to stop making impulse purchases and work on your academy.  Otherwise pretty solid

I agree with Cookie and Daz, you really need to stop buying guys for one game and think about at least 1 season at a time for transfers, but you joined the game in a time where the TM is always "inflated" and it is harder to buy quality players. I think you are heading in the right direction for sure.

Also, I think that the TM is gonna be "inflated" for a while, so I think that valuations we have on players will have to be changed accordingly. We can't judge transfers on players we bought in the past, only on ones we buy this season, because the game has changed a lot when it comes to the TM.

I got Lesnar for 82k but rest of my guys i've spent loads on.
Made some nice profits in the beginning though.
Eg. buying guys for 10k and selling them for 100k a season later.

Going to see if this EOS is similar to my first ever EOS... (the most recent EOS lol)

I picked up a whole HEAP of players for like 1-5K who I turned and burned for 40K+

One was a spinner I bought off cookie for 3K I think it was... sold him to assistant Canada manager for 75K (reduced sale price for me obviously)

Sorry for this long upcming post as I've missed ALOT recently :).

Q & PB you both suck... get over it.

So does my team also suck since I only rate around 150k?

I rated less than that for my first 2 seasons so everybody is ahead of me there ;). PB, Q and Nails are doing fine as they are picking up the game in their own way.

True fact. Forget ratings, none of your players would belong in my squad, besides Q's accom/accom 20yr old with opener talent :P

In 2 Weeks he will be 21 accom/accom and that's pretty bad haha.

Depending on secondaries, I have had about three quarters of my Senior team at one point with those skills ;). Did well for me then and now have a great team I like :D.

What's the point of having a project player if he doesn't play?
He'll always be behind the rest.

Project players I prefer playing in T20. No point just training them as their experience will be too low = less money made and you had to spend wages on them. Which is why you need to play project players every now and again so they are there for you long term.

4 of them are my own Youth Pulls who I've been training up. Playing them to get experience so they are viable long term for me (suggest if they are Senior Projects, play them in the matches you are sure to lose or against Bots for the added experience if you are keeping them). Only 1 was bought and since he's a Cap/Cap 18 y.o Accumulator, there is hope for him yet 8). I like Rel/Rel at 20 for projects, won't be world beaters but will be very servicable for  club in the long term :).

Hopefully Bubb sells for a lot of money...

Morgan, Selth, Habib, McFarlane and Flanagan have been with the team from the 1st/2nd season and I've basically trained them up from Rel/Rel and they combined for probably over 600 games for me over the seasons. Proves that even if they are pricey, make them worth the money you paid for them ;).
