Hey Pyro if you are talking about Fatigue... then i dont think i mind because i have got a good enough lineup of bowlers incase he is too tired. Plus i will prob get demoted, so i will most likely be playing BOTS, then i will play a "B-Team"; also then, the teams that are managed, will most likely be able to beat me, but there will be little of them in such a low league...

Haha thnx guys ;) . yeah it was overpaid a little bit, but i like spec/spec, while fielding, experience and endurance are all good enough.
Will train him in Power for one or two Pops, but a question, does it matter who the player is and what they are being trained in for them to start Plopping? or is it only at a certain age and attributes that they start plopping?

At 29 there no point training him in strength.  You would be lucky to get 1 pop in 2 years.

Best to just put him on fielding/fitness training.  You have a spec/spec fastie that will make a difference for your team.  That's what you paid for, nothing more, nothing less.

Just something to keep in mind - when you buy an older player dont expect to be able to train primaries, strength, keeping.  What you get is what you get.

just overpaid for http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=68973
Fixed that for you
how much was paid?
126k. 29 with that power is probably worth half that
yeh probably overpaid a little bit but he will be a great player for Luigi's team for a few years.

Different players start plopping at different times, training makes a difference I believe, but only to the skills being trained (not sure though just a guess :P) most players don't pop more then 1 level in any skill in 1 season I think (only based on the 30 yr olds I've had though)

I'm talking mainly about fatigue, which is fine if you have backups, just stating that you won't get full value from his wage which is why he was a bit of an overpay IMO

27.2   W   Mamta to van der Wiel : [catch] Mamta gets his man this time. A sharp bouncer, angling away from van der Wiel, who tries to fetch it from there. A weak pull shot and it just lobs up for Mamta to come under it. He was on his way back to the pavilion as soon as he hit it.
J. van der Wiel c & b. K. Mamta 1 (3b 0x4 0x6) SR:33.33

Mamtaaaaaa! Let's run through them now boys!

Maca24

His fielding and experience are yuck for his age  :-X

End of over 40 (3 runs) - chrisuzz(168-9) RR 4.20
C. Chambers 0 (1b) , R. Neelakantachar 3 (7b) , J. van der Hoeven 8-2-15-4

A target of 169 to chase down. Could be tough cos after my top 4 the batting gets very shallow...
van der Hoeven did brilliantly leading the bowling line up for me, being the only 18 year old bowler :)

Alright guys. Thanks for the heads up. I'm still no good at buying players because there always flaws in the people i buy!

So far the best or player of best value i have bought have been:
Harris, Finch, HERMAN, B Lee and Magee, while although I also bought Cannon for a tiny bit too much, but I love him! :P
While i have also bought stars for my team, they all have had many flaws which several FF members here have pointed out (except for Herman ;D )

It's ok Luigi, it's hard to buy great guys when your first starting out.. best to just try and continue improving your ratings and moving up in divisions.. then the money will start to flow in  ;)

End of over 30 (1 run) - PyroNerds XI(140-6). 146 runs required from 20 overs. RR 4.67 RRR 7.30
A. Kity 0 (2b) , J. Dell 32 (33b) , K. Mamta 10-1-32-3

Another great spell and great over just then Mamta :) Great bowling all up :)

Time to finish this nerd boys!

31.1   W   Ud-Din to Kity : [catch] A perfect shot against an off-break there. Unfortunately for Kity that wasn't an off-break! Ud-Din and Sweeney are celebrating as Kity trudges back to the pavilion.
A. Kity c J. Sweeney b. A. Ud-Din 3 (4b 0x4 0x6) SR:75.00

31.3   .   Ud-Din to Hayes : [dropped] Bubb has confused fielding with sports fishing, choosing to catch and release on this occasion.

Poor Ud-Din, some bad fielding always ruins his day.

Maca24

Mamta has been bloody good for you nails! I'd keep him for another season maybe longer.

Yeah he's a top bloke Mamta... Only outs if not in the best form though :(

The thing about him though is his captaincy is high as it can get... Outstanding captaincy + Natural Leader... therefore he's great just as a lock in captain. He's the Dane Swan of my squad.

32.6   .   Maddox to Hayes : [dropped] Edged to the right of Sweeney who dives and just manages to get a glove to it. That will go down as a missed chance.

Poor Maddox too :(

About to verse Voldemort.
Playing my best team for some reason, and he is playing his best, but his team is not great as he only recently signed up and he has bought a total of 5 players (skills i can't see).

I'm bowling first on a Slow, so the toss went my way :)

And you know how i just bought Armstrong? (look further up for link), he just got a wicket on his second bowl for Luigi Industries ;D

End of over 1 (5 runs) - Hawk's Heroes(5-1) RR 5.00
M. Greenidge 4 (3b) , D. Thomas 1 (1b) , M. Armstrong 1-0-5-1
