End of over 35 (7 runs) - The Nailers(193-6) RR 5.51
J. Reardon 45 (45b) , C. Gross 67 (71b) , A. Channarayapatra 6-0-34-1

Don't think it'll be too close Cic, my bowling lineup is pathetic.

Reardon is only in the side because of his captaincy lol, wasn't expecting him to get runs.

Leading from the front like a captain should :)

End of over 38 (16 runs) - The Nailers(221-7) RR 5.82
C. Hughes 0 (0b) , J. Reardon 50 (49b) , A. Hussain 7-0-65-1

Gross dismissed last ball of that over for 90 off 85... Least he went out swinging hitting all the runs off that over :)

We might end up having a chance just yet...

End of over 40 (8 runs) - The Nailers(237-8) RR 5.92
F. Draper 1 (2b) , J. Reardon 59 (55b) , A. Hussain 8-0-73-2

Not quite the 280 I was hoping for... but it'll have to do, shame my bowling is so crap

End of over 6 (maiden) - THEPAKICHAMPS(39-1). 199 runs required from 34 overs. RR 6.50 RRR 5.85
D. Ryan 0 (4b) , F. Rasool 18 (18b) , C. Hughes 3-1-14-1

We were getting our butts absolutely kicked but a wicket maiden by Hughes gives us hope.

12.5   nb1   Draper to Rasool : Fast, full ball from Draper swinging from middle and leg to outside off-stump. Rasool digs it into the legside. Hughes is too deep and the batsmen run hard for a single.

Gives them an extra ball in the over... and this is what they did with that extra ball:

12.6   6   Draper to Ryan : Ryan went for the hook, but got a lucky top edge which carried over third man's head.

::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

17.5   W   Hughes to Ryan : Caught ball-watching, slow to respond to his partner's call, run out by a metre. Dreadful running by Ryan.
D. Ryan run out (C. Gross) 46 (45b 3x4 2x6) SR:102.22

18.2   W   Mirani to Rasool : Charges down the track and sends this one high up into the sky. Shikuku settles under it at long on and takes a comfortable catch.
F. Rasool c D. Shikuku b. B. Mirani 54 (51b 3x4 2x6) SR:105.88

We're back in with a chance... the two established batsmen out!

oh and AGAIN!

Mirani you gun!

18.5   W   Mirani to Williams : [catch] Bouncer, and hooked straight to the man in the deep! Out!
B. Williams c J. Goldsmith b. B. Mirani 0 (3b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

and now Hughes is in on the action with Mirani helping out still!

19.4   W   Hughes to Senior : [catch] Charges down the track and sends this one high up into the sky. Mirani settles under it at long on and takes a comfortable catch.
J. Senior c B. Mirani b. C. Hughes 1 (6b 0x4 0x6) SR:16.67

Batting first on a Humid/Uneven.

   End of over 5 (6 runs) - PowerBugCC(19-1) RR 3.80
S. Roach 0 (0b) , H. Herbert 11 (19b) , S. Kumarasiri 3-0-13-1

4.6   W   Kumarasiri to Salih : [catch] Salih steps back to leg and tries to lift Kumarasiri over his head, but pops a catch to the diving Sathish running round from mid-off.
N. Salih c S. Sathish b. S. Kumarasiri 6 (13b 0x4 0x6) SR:46.15

>:(

5.3   W   MacKenna to Herbert : A straight ball hits him in line, the finger is slowly raised.
H. Herbert lbw b. T. MacKenna 11 (22b 0x4 0x6) SR:50.00

>:( >:(

End of over 31 (10 runs) - THEPAKICHAMPS(193-5). 45 runs required from 9 overs. RR 6.23 RRR 5.00
A. Anjum 31 (31b) , A. Hussain 37 (38b) , C. Gross 8-0-66-0

Wickets, I do need them.

PowerBug

I'm surprised that Hussain, is still going, 37* with poor batting. 9 overs left, you could hang on and promote. :)

Cicjose

i hope mirani is bowling the last spell nails

A win today will help.

Going slowly, i'm trying to stay in 4th, i could come third with some upsets.

I get the point but someone playing as long as cic shouldn't make that kind of comment about that kind of player. My all-rounder who you know fletch has seam spec but bats 6 or has at times opened and he has accomplished batting
As you were talking about an ALL ROUNDER, I guess Cic assumed he was a decent batter. He didn't know he only had Ordinary batting and that doesn't really make an all rounder in my opinion (Bowler who can bat a bit :P).

And I agree with Cyrus, it's just a game to have fun ;).

bomberboy0618

I never said he was an ar, I said he would do as my ar for the time being. There is a difference.

Cyrus

bad luck nails
needed to play a spinner on D to put pressure on the run rate IMO but good effort defending

8-6 Suited

Fun? There is no fun in this game. It's totally serious.
