Could an upset be on the cards for nails

Do players get a trophy for being a league champion?

Texel looks likely to be the SOD league champion :) I'm very happy with Tex, he's a top bloke.

The Nailers don't see it as an upset if we do win, we were planning for this ;)

37.1   W   Ud-Din to Malavika : [Arm Ball] Quicker one from Ud-Din, pitches in line, straightens, hitting the pad below the knee-roll. The umpire had no hesitation to raise his finger. Would have hit the leg stump is what hawk-eye confirms.
I. Malavika lbw b. A. Ud-Din 1 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR:50.00

That is 5 wickets for Ud-Din!

That leaves McRoo 9 down... Hopefully he makes it until the 42nd over as I want to see Sreerupa with OBB activated.

Hopefully just maidens until then.

I don't think Nails will be upset about it at all  ;)

Just luring him into a false sense of hope  :D

If Stone can take wickets on this deck then de Vreeze will tear his line-up to shreds  8)

STOP the PRESS - de Vreeze made a run  :o :o

15.5
Oldfield to Bailey : [catch] Out! Bailey has nicked a regulation outswinger from Oldfield to Dorenagama at first slip.
G. Bailey c D. Dorenagama b. D. Oldfield 34 (46b 3x4 0x6) SR:73.91

Dorenagama couldn't take the wicket, but he contributes with a catch.

EDIT: 18.3 - Dorenagama to Tobin : Superb delivery from Dorenagama! Just tailed in toward the stumps before seaming away off the pitch and clipping the top of off. Absolutely unplayable.
J. Tobin b. D. Dorenagama 4 (10b 0x4 0x6) SR:40.00
forgot this was on and didnt set any orders..... you will smash me  :(

A very annoying 10th wicket partnership developing  ::)

40.6   W   Stone to de Vreeze : [catch] Flat, short, and thwacked by de Vreeze straight back over the bowler's head. Unfortunately, he's found the man at long off! Out!
T. de Vreeze c A. Yogish b. D. Stone 6 (8b 1x4 0x6) SR:75.00

Well I said if I couldn't get a wicket straight away I wanted the innings to go until the 42nd over started...

Stone stuffed it up for me.  ::)

End of over 41 (9 runs) - Mike Whitney's afro!(158-10) RR 3.85
J. Williams 42 (58b) , D. Stone 6-0-22-2

Can we chase it down? I'd like to think so.

How dare you doubt the quality of my batters w/ a low RRR!

:O

I was hoping for 175 after having to bat first. You should get 159 with a few overs to spare with your defensive orders.
I have two spells of aggressive coming up, Van Gulik in his first spell, de Vreeze in his second spell.
Nkala's second is defensive.

All others are Neutral.

*Nearly on the first ball - lucky Stone, very lucky  ::)
