Never buy players for 1 game. Do your research and try and beat him with orders.

Waste of cash. You wont make it back just for one game.

But it's not like I'd be buying some 38yo atro/atro

I'd be looking at buying someone who'd have a very bright future in my side...

like 22yo exp/exp or a 24yo out/out - probably a batter.

They'd be playing for me for the rest of their career and definitely fit into the side nicely, I'd be buying a gun, not someone who's going to last 1 season. Is that so bad?

20.2   W   Dorenagama to McDonald : That's unplayable! Angling into McDonald before curving away, beating the bat, and taking the top of off stump. Brilliant bowling by Dorenagama.
H. McDonald b. D. Dorenagama 47 (42b 3x4 0x6) SR:111.90

I have a thorn in my side and his last name is Dorenagama... On a Hard/Hot surely I shouldn't be 4 down at this stage :(

End of over 26 (2 runs) - The Nailers(169-5) RR 6.50

On a hard/hot this is a disgrace.

27.3   .   Ameer to Sweeney : [dropped] Edged down the leg side and Taylor is unable to gather it cleanly.

Turning point of the match hopefully... Dropped on 0, now on 10 from 10 balls.

Playing against Q in a youth friendly today. I batted first on a slow pitch in humid conditions, and my innings just finished.

End of over 40 (13 runs) - The Matchbox Matadors(230-4) RR 5.75
J. Wilkinson 17 (10b) , R. Donfeld 42 (36b) , O. Naughton 8-0-60-1

Pretty happy with that score and I reckon I can defend it. Sargeant top scored with 93, followed by Temiz with 47. Q's so called "Nat Superstar" Karari Sheikh in conditions perfect for him couldn't get a wicket and finished none for 42 from his 8 overs.

End of over 50 (10 runs) - The Nailers(316-7) RR 6.32
T. Texel 43 (38b) , K. Mamta 0 (0b) , K. Ameer 10-0-63-2

Not really pumped with that total, but I'm very extremely with how Yogish played. He got out on the last ball of the innings with 84 runs off 83 balls.

We were losing wickets too often and Yogish dug in and made sure he hung around... He was sitting on a snail pace 26 off 51 and then went boom, he hung around made sure we didn't lose many more wickets and ends up on 84 off 83 being dismissed on the last ball of the innings, an impressive innings by an impressive young bat. Only other chance he gave up was when he was dropped in the 48th, you've done me proud Yogish!

2.3   3   Texel to Budden : [misfield] Makes room and drives behind square off of a thick outside edge. Ud-Din rushes around on the boundary but fumbles and gifts a third.

Ud-Din you're Outstanding in fielding... why you be misfielding on me bra?

roo boys!

End of over 35 (7 runs) - Roo Boys!(229-3) RR 6.54
M. Zia 95 (90b), R. Furlonge 26 (24b) , C. Hayes 7.5-2-40-1
C. Hayes is tired.

Lost by 1 wicket. Not a terrible performance. A 2 ball duck from my best bat hurt me and Sodumo picked the wrong day to get hit around. Oh well, his top order did get on top of me. Considering my quicks are my HUGE weakness I was never confident on the uneven pitch.

The Matchbox Matadors won by 3 runs :)

Game ended up much closer than I thought it would, with Maloney (my best bowler) getting thumped in the last few overs, conceding 29 runs in his last 2 overs. Q needed 14 runs from the last over, and a 6 from the last ball, but luckily for me they only managed a single.

Man of the Match
3. Jonathan van der Hoeven - 3 for 41 from 8. Bowled me to victory :)
2. Colwin Sargeant - 93 runs from 114 balls opening the batting for me
1. Safi Jirongo - tried his best to win it for Q, scoring 13 runs from 10 balls and taking 2 for 42

Good game Q

Nails

33.4   .   Ud-Din to Vadher : [dropped] Simply dreadful fielding! Reverse paddle from Vadher and it sailed ever so gently to McDonald at deep gully and he drops an absolute dolly. Ud-Din is crestfallen and kicks the turf in frustration.
33.3   .   Ud-Din to Vadher : [dropped] Simon has dropped a dolly at cover! Even my mother would have caught that!

::)

Great game CF. Came down to the wire, although I didn't expect to chase down that total. Plus Sheikh was useless   ::)

Certainly did come down to the wire. With 10 overs to go I thought I had it in the bag and went away for a bit, then saw that you only needed 14 from the last over and I was very worried.
Yeah both our best bowlers were useless, Sheikh for you and Maloney for me ::)

HOW DID YOU GET HIM FOR 8K?!?!?

Surely admins have to have changed that or Luigi was the only one looking at the TM?
