I have a youth player for sale CF, not the greatest though
Even though he has average batting I'm going to have to say no thanks cos of the dreadful tech and fielding. I try and pick up 16 y.o's with at least ord fielding, so I can get them straight up to avg and then focus on primaries for the next few seasons ;)
That's what I do. Just stay away from this guy though CF

Haha ok you can have him fletch ;)

shaggy i know you avoid aggressive tactics and you might be better off going with 4 seamers, 1 spinner if you have that

End of over 50 (12 runs) - DazBurg's Greatness(342-4) RR 6.84
T. Bryant 71 (55b) , D. Manou 33 (18b) , A. Ud-Din 10-0-66-3

Match over, unless something very special happens... a quick fire 100 off 80 balls from Stone is about my only hope.

BTW HP, awesome result there with Gallagher :) Are you going to hold on to him after EOS?
Quote from: cookie311993 on August 18, 2011, 10:39:40 AM
i say he would fletch. HP tends to grow really close to his players
That I do :D. Could have made a bundle if I sold him at 16 (as would I with Morgan Jr. and Currie) but like to try and grow my own players. I am planning on sell my 27 y.o bat so that Currie/Gallagher have room to grow in the Seniors 8).

haha yeah that too shaggy. Hp had his doubts over gallagher and bang he performs big time
I never doubted him ;). When he was 17, he opened for me and amassed over 1100+ runs with quite a few centuries :P. Yet his Rel/Rel Primaries are what almost made him miss the tour. Happy to have get some added experience :D.

3.4 W Ilango to Simon : [runout] Wait is the call, Pratima misfields and the batters take off. Simon is well short of his ground and is run out. The lesson here ladies and gents, is never run on a misfield.
R. Simon run out (K. Pratima) 1 (5b 0x4 0x6) SR:20.00

Some people get all the luck... my best bat... run out.

you doubted him even making the friendly matches HP

Actually, I only avoid aggressive batting orders, bowling wise I almost always have 2-3 aggressive bowling orders unless on a flat or green pitch.

There is 3 definite locks to play today, being:

Buckley (AR Reli/Spec/Spec FS)
Ablett (FM Spec/Spec with Outs power)
Fitzpatrick (F Spec/Spec with Exp power)

Then I have the options of the following:

Brooks (FM Outs/Outs with Cap power and average batting)
Rogers (FS Spec/Except)
Quinn (M Spec/Spec with Acc power)

If I was to play my best then I would be playing the 2 FS in Hard/Sunny conditions. Could back-fire and be costly to me.

cookie311993

no i meant you arent meant to use aggressive bowlers on a hard pitch

Well because wage wise, he's one of the lower end players in the squad. But his Talent and secondaries (Fielding and Power did play a huge part ;)) helped him get a game :D. I'm not complaining he's playing as Currie was Acc/Acc to be considered for gametime (which he only got at the WC).

It's not the tactics I am stuck on, I have decent Hard pitch tactics. Plus will out-rate my opponent by a significant amount. It's just the selection I am stuck on.

cookie311993

meh who cares lower end wage player big end performance player

cookie311993

i would go for the seamers. I am not to sure about the 2 spinners on hard.
