I never delete them and when i go back there i have plenty of players bookmarked who majority i cant see their skills anymore because they sold. I put the early bids in just for the players i need. I put in a bid last night at 38k and then this morning i woke up and saw that a n00b had pushed the price up to 71k

Do you realise that by placing a bid on a player yourself, instead of bookmarking, you are actually pushing the price of the player up also??
