I escaped just fine with cookie. Ingall starred with the bat and we were able to contain cookie's bats enough to prevail by 33 runs....we're slowly getting back on track before hosting maca next week

cookie311993

They just didn't score quick enough although scoring 2 centuries.  Good game bp

I don't need 31 yo guns but I just couldn't help myself w/ this guy for some reason...

I don't really need him at all, but for some reason I put like all my money on him and my academy might even decline because of it, although he is a nice all rounder I need someone 29yo or younger...

BB won quite comfortably in the end, but I don't think it was the absolute smashing he thought it would be. My fielding has not improved much considering most of my players were on fielding training last week...

Good game BB :) hope you don't get the NRR boost you were after :P

Only a .12 NRR boost for BB and Hilly is still on top provided he wins his match decently :D - take that BB

CrowsFan

Nails you really shouldn't be buying players over 30 years old. They are just a waste of money. Also why do you want hilly to win so badly?

I just don't want BB to win, BB was talking all week about how he was going to really smash me and seeing as Hilly is the only other undefeated team at the moment I was just cheering on Hilly.

Glad BB didn't smash me as much as he would have liked :)

Players that are 30+ aren't necessarily bad.
Potentially some guys could play until they are 34+ but for some reasons the majority get the chop at 30. Just saying :P

Back off! He's mine! I don't care that he's another Spec summary rfs! I want him anyway! He's handy with his rel summary batting!

cookie311993

I doubt you will be able to afford him nails and you have a good spinner in Ud-din, youngster greig and stone who you said you bowled

Nails

Yeah he went boom... he was sitting on 60K until 40 minutes before finish and then boom boom boom..

Should I bid anything on this guy?

cookie311993

really depends how cheap he stays. hard to predict player value atm with the inflation still evident

Nails

if I don't get him... I want this guy...

His wage might destroy me, but I want him!

cookie311993

settle down nails, why you need him for your leagues?

It will look different for the teams that have been banking on this income and are used to managing finances based on getting a rather large top up at the end of the season.

Sure there are no wages, but that won't cover the loss of PM. EoS sales prices will be lower and academy investments should drop next season as wages increase and teams don't have a war chest.

Hopefully we see this happen and the teams that stockpile money benefit greatest. results wont go my way the last half of the season but hopefully i can avoid demotion and make enough money to buy some good players at EOS
