no, he isnt a great bat and the wage would be too much for you at this stage, plus keepers need a lot of endo, expecially old keepers :-X

i wouldnt spend as much as he is up for, would depend if i needed a keeper badly or not, but you will only get 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 season out of him before he is too old

He's accomplished summary when not in average form... I only use him if I need runs smashed out quickly because of his outstanding power  ;D

But yeah, might be firing him tomorrow, I'm not sure... ugh, got so few players now, maybe should have kept my RM... oh well :D

Just realised I am screwed in my batting stocks next season for youths! Next season I will only have 4 specialised batsmen (2 of which are currently 16), and they are:
• Koen Stroetinga (18) - reas/reas - will most likely be my keeper too with avg keeping...
• Colwin Sargeant (18) - reas/reas
• Chris Andrews (16) - reas/avg
• Scott Evans (16) - ord/poor

Also got a 17 year old AR who is ord in batting and avg/avg bowler, but after that there is nothing! Need to recruit a few more guys like Chris Andrews in the next few weeks...

Is he worth it? I mean the talent and primaries mean I can fix up secondaries for the rest ofhis career. Plus he would allow me to sell my 30 yr old medium and this guy would be an improvement on him.
I also will be chasing a batter which should leave me with ~220k if I get both of them, which means I could stockpile.
