He's probably doing that so he can sell another player... You have to have a minimum of 12 players in your squad, so if you only have 12 players and want to sell one, you have to buy a filler such as that player there, enabling you to sell the guy you want to sell.

So played maca in a friendly today on a dry pitch in overcast conditions.
Ended up batting first and posting a score of 9 for 234 from my 50 overs. In return I managed to bowl out maca in the 46th over for 191, meaning I won by 43 runs :)

Man of the Match
3. Atul Suriyaprakash - took 4 for 34 from 8 overs, also whilst batting was left not out on 28 from 33 balls
2. Percy Skinner - Opened the batting and scored 70 runs from 100 balls
1. Elliot Ridge - Scored 7 runs from 7 balls, but more importantly took 3 wickets in 7.1 overs conceding just 23 runs

It's about getting as pathetic as possible so you're not forking out much in wage payments.
