I have played 4 full seasons and I am still not focussing on youths.  My YA is meagre and will be for another couple of seasons at least.

no youth pull is entirely luck

I have heard that it is rumored to help but I have had some decent pulls and I have a meagre YA

I have had 3 players play nats from my academy and it is inadequate

It's meant to have some impact... Doesn't seem to though. If you ask one of the stat nerd mods they will probably give you the stats on it. ::)

It is meant to give you a better chance, but I have an excellent academy and I have never really pulled a gun player!

On a different note who would you guys say is a better captain out of these 2?
Guy 1 - outstanding captaincy, average experience
Guy 2 - reliable captaincy, outstanding experience

Marginally. For each level of YA it increases your chances of a good youth pull by 2-3%
