Bazinga

This is my opponent for round 1 of SOD next week ...

The Latex Salesman

Was doing a quick check-up of his games to see which pitch I should set, and realised that he has been playing FTP since may 2009 and he has never made a single transfer    :o :o :o    that does not make sense!!!  he must have about 10 billion dollars in the bank because his players are crap, especially his youths which means his academies are crap too.

BratPack

So Elijzen popped in bowling his first training session with me. Now Cap/Acc/Acc. Boy am I glad I snuck in and nabbed him  ;D

After making countless calculations, sorting out prices and acadmies and Gate takings, i've settled on this.

After the current transfer i will have $517'241 in cash.

Sponsorship - Acadamies{25k each} - Wages = $0

I will leave $100'000 left over in case of mis-calculations. (unlikely) {$417'241 left}

Both my Acadamies will have $32,500 {+$7'500}. Both of which will stay for the season. A loss of $15k per week, $210'000 for the season. {$207'241}

I'm putting aside $110'000 for stadium upgrade from 5'000 to 10'000. {$97'241}

That leaves $97'241 in leftover cash which i can put towards buying players.

The gate takings i am given each week will be the profit i gain.

PB you wont need a 10,000 seat capacity stadium.  Save your money there.  I have an 8,000 seat stadium and I only sell out to 1 or 2 teams in my league.

+1 I have a 9,000 seat stadium and I've sold out once.... PC I've got close against some good sides in Div 3 T20, but you'll be wasting your money ATM

And just to clarify that it means I only play to a sold out crowd once or twice a season.  You do play each team twice, but once and home and once away.

Once you start selling out the 5000 seats regularly then I would start to think about upgrading your capacity (to prob 7k or 8k)

I thought about only upgrading to 7 or 8 thousand, but because i'm going straight to 10 thousand i save that extra $10k which is the basement price.

Mines only 7k, and I rarely sell out. Dont go straight to 10k, I think it lowers supporters morale if the stadium is regulary empty.

PB just invest all your monies into your senior academy at the highest level for a season.

If you upgrade your stadium you will encounter a large chunk of your money will go to maintenance you don't need

After the current transfer i will have $517'241 in cash.

Sponsorship - Acadamies{25k each} - Wages = $0

I will leave $50'000 left over in case of mis-calculations. (unlikely) {$467'241 left}

Both my Acadamies will have $35'000 {+$10'000}. Both of which will stay for the season. A loss of $20k per week, $300'000 for the season. {$167'241}

I'm putting aside $50'000 for stadium upgrade from 5'000 to 7'000. {$117'241}

That leaves $117'241 in leftover cash which i can put towards buying players.

The gate takings i am given each week will be the profit i gain.

As of current both acadamies are not at the minimum of improving++, but it saves me from continuously changing it every week.
