I liked Ud-Din's bowling figures today...
A. Ud-Din 10-0-62-0 :)

No he's not worth it. You'll be able to find some better ones soon

Opening him and putting both spells on A was a mistake against a VASTLY stronger opponent.

But that's what these friendlies are for, testing stuff out, which is what I used this match to do :)

He's better than 6.2 an over for 0 wickets... he'll prove that tomorrow hopefully.. (albeit on a green pitch)

I remember when McEvoy got dropped on 19 from 20 balls... At least he isn't scoring fast anymore :D 48 from 63.

CrowsFan

Yeah friendlies are all about learning :)
Haha since you said McEvoy wasn't scoring fast he has gone and scored 24 runs from 15 balls :P

Nails

Yeah McEvoy is a spud  >:( >:( >:( >:(

You'll probably score 150 runs off these last 10 overs... :(

CrowsFan

That is 100 runs for McEvoy (103 runs, 95b, 8x4, 1x6) SR:108.42 :)
Beat Warwick to the ton which surprised me...

CrowsFan

That is the 200 partnership (204 runs, 163b, 9x4, 5x6) SR:125.15
That is 100 runs for Warwick (101 runs, 89b, 3x4, 4x6) SR:113.48

Brought them up with a 6  :D

I'll get bowled out for under 100 too  :'(

47.3   W   Addison to Warwick : A short rising delivery pitched on the middle and off stump line and angling across. Warwick goes for the pull and is beaten for pace.
G. Warwick c O. Oxenford b. B. Addison 110 (98b 3x4 4x6) SR:112.24

Good riddance.

Worst bowler finally breaks up the partnership

CrowsFan

Damn was hoping he could bat till the end...

End of over 50 (10 runs) - The Matchbox Matadors(369-3) RR 7.38
R. Deem 15 (9b) , N. McEvoy 134 (112b) , B. Addison 10-0-92-1

Nice total though :)

Nails

Who knows... if McEvoy got caught instead of dropped you might have only scored 350!

Maca24

Once you get some other decent players you wont have2 rely on 1 bowler nails.

Nails

Maddox is a reliable summary bowler...

but he just never performs... he's acc/acc... I'm meant to rely on him too, but he just no...

Nails

0.4   4   Boraston to Simon : Drifting down leg and Simon gleefully helps it on its way to the boundary.
0.3   6   Boraston to Simon : Boraston has given Simon a nice juicy full toss on middle stump and Simon has responded by disposing the ball for six over long on.

umm... Nice defensive batting from Simon there at first drop...

reliable summary isn't very good. But its good for a new player, so you can train him up.
Once you play a season you should have atleast Exp/Outs summary players.
Exceptional summary is bloody rare. Dont think my Excep/excep batsman even have that.
