Nails let me help you out.
EOS isn't exactly cheaper its just there are soo many options.
If you want an exact sort of player he is going to be there.
Mind you a did get a bargain but usually I was outbid.

It isn't cheaper for older players, but for 19yr olds who turn 20 in the new season there are hundreds of them on the TM at EOS, so there should be a few bargains to be found.

End of over 2 (10 runs) - PowerBugCC(10-0) RR 5.00
J. Paree 3 (3b) , E. Crosthwaite 7 (9b) , R. Pritchard 1-0-10-0

Solid start.

PowerBug

2.3   W
Gardiner to Crosthwaite : Gardiner gets him! In amusing style too... a rip-snorter of a bouncer rockets into Crosthwaite's helmet, the poor man having no time to defend himself ends up stumbling back into his stumps. Well... it worked.
E. Crosthwaite hit wicket b. L. Gardiner 15 (12b 3x4 0x6) SR:125.00

First wicket down.

End of over 4 (8 runs) - PowerBugCC(31-1) RR 7.75
B. Forsaith 9 (7b) , J. Paree 7 (5b) , R. Pritchard 2-0-18-0

Still batting fast.

I got a bargain last season, but my other buys were probably slight overpays.
My bargain was late in EOS, which will encourage me to be patient.

Up pretty late last night.... so watching the replay on 8x until I catch up to wherever the match is up to...

13.1   W   Dyson to Arman : [Yorker] Dyson musters up all the effort he can and fires in a toe crusher. Arman obliges by getting himself in line with the stumps and the umpire raises his finger.
A. Arman lbw b. D. Dyson 14 (33b 1x4 0x6) SR:42.42

17.1   W   Pasuma to Carracher : [Bouncer] Carracher is usually a good hooker, but couldn't quite get over it this time. Caught down at fine leg by Yogish.
A. Carracher c A. Yogish b. K. Pasuma 4 (13b 0x4 0x6) SR:30.77

38.1   W   Dyson to D'Cruz : [Yorker] The yorker hits D'Cruz on the toe in front of off stump. The umpire raises the finger and D'Cruz limps away towards the pavilion.
L. D'Cruz lbw b. D. Dyson 17 (29b 0x4 0x6) SR:58.62

End of over 39 (maiden) - Elwood Rovers(116-10) RR 2.97

Pasuma using that talent I recruited you for.  8)

Well since the last post, it's been outrageous. i've ben scoring at 10 per over. I just lost a wicket then.

37.5   W
Trinnick to Roach : Short of a good length delivery on the stumps, Roach makes room and takes a swing. The ball clips the top edge and balloons up to mid-on.
S. Roach c M. Woolley b. N. Trinnick 104 (75b 7x4 2x6) SR:138.67

Before today i hadn't even scored a 100 from an individual, now B.Forsaith looks like finishing on 190*.

PowerBug

Spoke too soon. Just lost another wicket. And it's Forsaith.

End of over 38 (8 runs) - PowerBugCC(339-4) RR 8.92
O. Casey 0 (0b) , R. Fett 0 (0b) , N. Trinnick 7-0-66-2

I told him to play defensive, he replies with:

B. Forsaith b. N. Trinnick 178 (125b 17x4 3x6) SR:142.40

Exactly - patience is the key, and not to get into bidding wars that lead to massive overpays.

PowerBug

Well bowled yourself Nails.

End of over 40 (12 runs) - PowerBugCC(358-4) RR 8.95
R. Fett 11 (7b) , O. Casey 8 (5b) , N. Trinnick 8-0-78-2

Thanks guys :)

Think he was a massive over pay? He's a lefty with the bouncer talent which I both think add value...

That is the 100 partnership (101 runs, 62b, 10x4, 2x6) SR:162.90
That is 50 runs for Sweeney (50 runs, 30b 5x4 1x6) SR:166.67

Then 1 ball later

That is 50 runs for Dickson (50 runs, 33b 5x4 1x6) SR:151.52

The Nailers won by 10 wickets

End of over 12 (11 runs) - The Nailers(118-0) RR 9.83
J. Sweeney 62 (34b) , A. Dickson 52 (36b) , N. Abbas 1.1-0-23-0

11 runs off 1 ball from that over, because nb4 :P Brings up the win :)

Bowled them out for 116 and chased it down in 11.1 overs :) The boys played well, hopefully this is enough to avoid relegation!

Maca24

I wouldnt go out of your way to get left handers. Dont think its a massive factor.

Lots of players have bad summaries  >:( Its annoying as.
Downton is Spec/Spec but with Outs summary. I know experience is the problem so ill be careful with my next few purchases.
