Sorry guys... but what is experience used for?

Will an ordinary exp reliable batsman out perform a dreadful exp reliable batsman simply because of his exp?

Does exp = you should perform better... Just struggling to understand why it's so important.

Are these two Worth 2k each? I know their exp is horrible but they're a short term solution and only $2,000 is worth it yes? He's still reliable/reliable.

Experience is a valuable attribute for all players, but especially for your captain. The captaincy skill and experience attribute combine to determine a player's ability to lead the team.
As a player gains in experience, his performances will improve, especially at the lower end of the scale.
For example, there will be a more noticeable performance difference between an atrocious and ordinary experienced player than there will be between a reliable and accomplished experienced player.
Experience can only be gained by playing matches. Playing matches in a higher division will grant more experience to playing matches in lower divisions. The type of match also affects the amount of experience gained. For example, players will earn more experience from a limited overs one day match than from a Twenty20 match.

Just copied that from the rules... lol best explanation tho & I can't be stuffed explaining :P but it's the first thing I look at on a player I'm looking at buying...
