The fact he is gifted at bowling makes him a great candidate for me to train up over the years.

He'd be a good prospect/project imo.

Cancel that, don't start work until 5:30... but hmmm to buy or not to buy.

Nup he is definitely not worth it he is a medium and his exp/secondaries are not up to scratch - You should wait :)

Yeah definitely not the second guy.
I reckon pass the first guy as well, you're in a rush and there are many more where he cam from ;)

The things I do like about him however (not in a rush anymore, don't have to leave for ~40 minutes, I got confused lol)

His talent: Yorker and the fact he's left handed... and will therefore I'll have him bowling alongside right handers for both his spells giving him/my other bowler a % increase.

It is only a 5% increase but it is handy.
I reckon if you like him just go for it :) I have picked up players like him early as well, and you will get PM for EOS.

Advice is much appreciated. I think I'll jump on him as the fact he's a reasonable bowler in reasonable form makes him far better than my 4th best bowler (ordinary)

Therefore reasonable = 2 steps above ordinary... = good addition to my side. + The fact he has the yorker talent and in my side could reach form greater than reasonable gives him much greater potential...

Decent thinking?

How is he rubbish? Well compared to the guy you just payed 12k for. Pretty much same skills yet my guy is a fast bowler which is far better than a medium.

My guy is also extremely close to a bowling pop which would make him rel/rel

Man am I going about this the right way though?

Is picking players up like this decent/acceptable? Or stupid? I only want my side to become quality... I sorta think they're a lower quality than what I should be getting? i.e. not 30K+

@CF :P He's rubbish because his auction doesn't end for hours :( + The fact he's at 20K = I only have 20K after buying this left hander... (with 6K invested in my academy)

I have been fantasizing about acquiring a wrist spinner and a fasty lately however... Should I place a bid? (all the money I have, but will acquire ~$8,000 for my home one dayer tomorrow)
