Costanza is Out/reas Keep/field - hoping to pop to Spec keeping tonight, with Acc/Out Bat/Tech at 22 and has Gifted keeping too.

While that money is very tempting I could never bring myself to sell Booth, he pushed 2 older and better keepers out of my squad if I got rid of him now...I'd look like a fool :P Plus I love him :D

Extremely, it helps in the ME in tight situations I think. It also helps with the overall summary of a player, that's what you should be focusing on. It is the most important secondary IMO.

Almost as important as primaries, not quite there, but given the way performance increases with skills dread is crap.

For instance that player you are looking at is reas/reas, but is in reliable form with dreadful experience, and is only an avg summary batsman....

If he was in avg/reas form he might even be an ord summary batsman

Oh okay, so that's probably where I've been going wrong :(

I've been totally ignoring exp... stupid last few purchases :(

So really I should look at: Batting/Bowling and Technique... THEN exp...

I'm still confused though...

what is the 'ME' - what does exp affect exactly? - do players learn other skills faster with more exp?

does exp actually boost their summaries? Do summaries really matter/affect anything at all?

Summaries don't change anything it is supposed to be a guide for the overall skill of a player but there are a lot of things that can throw it off.
No experience has no affect on how other skills train.
ME=match engine - It takes all the variables and then produces an outcome.
Yes exp has a large influence on summaries.

The fact he is gifted at bowling makes him a great candidate for me to train up over the years.

Probably a bit of a line all, there will be similar players for less in a fortnight but this guy is better value than some of your other buys ;)
