I need a friendly for tomorrow to test my new recruit.

What about All Rounder training for the 1st one? I was trying to look at him as an AR for me with his already average bat (making him my 4th best batsman) and reliable bowling = my 3rd best bowler

Ummm probably not right now Cookie, I'm probably being stupid buying players cause everyone says wait, but the fact is in one league I can still climb 2-3 spots and therefore earn around $36,000 more in PM...

MajorLazer

AR training takes longer and average bat isn't too bad for an AR at your level Nails.

Alright, got him on bowling. He has got ~3.9K spare ratings (by my n00b calculations) so hopefully near a bowling pop

So playing Harms knocked about 2k off my ratings. Easy win though.

Man of the Match
Conrad Strydom (3) 76 off 57 and 2/7 as he helped Harms clean up the tail
Robert Reid (2) 72 off 63. 2 catches and 2 run outs. Leading by example
Robert Hutton (1) 85 off 55

Harms finished with 3/24 off his 8 overs

He's going to sell  :'( sorta wish I kept him though, he would have been a shining light to my side and I failed to save the $ that would have been handy along with Murugappa.

The Matchbox Matadors won by 4 wickets :)

Bowled first on a flat wicket, and conceded 246 runs picking up just 5 wickets. Nevill and Rees both picking up 2. Then chased down the target 35.4 overs losing 6 wickets. Temiz the superstar was unbeaten on 101 at the end. Temiz is averaging 104.25 this season in youths having picked up 3 centuries and 5 50's :)

Man of the Match

10.6 . Ud-Din to Gordon : [missed runout] Gordon calls for a single but is sent back by his partner. Watts makes a wild return and misses the run out opportunity.

12.1 . Ud-Din to Ngilu : [missed stumping] Ngilu charges down the pitch, takes a swipe and misses. Horton is taken by surprise and misses a gilt edged stumping chance.

>:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

23.2 4 Maddox to Ngilu : [misfield] Sliding onto leg stump and worked away behind square where Saunders makes a hash of it at fine leg and concedes a boundary

23.6 4 Maddox to Ngilu : [misfield] Theak flings a hand out but is unable to stop the ball racing away. 4 is the result.

Maddox 10-0-89-0

Guess I shouldn't set both his spells at aggressive? Why so expensive?  >:( He's my best seamer...  How many bowlers should be on A? It's aggressive/windy

That is 5 wickets for Ud-Din!
37.1   W   Ud-Din to Ruchika : [Arm Ball] Ruchika doesn't read that delivery. He doesn't quite middle it and it ends up in the hands of Oxenford at mid-on.
D. Ruchika c O. Oxenford b. A. Ud-Din 82 (55b 4x4 4x6) SR:149.09

39.4   W   Ud-Din to Toretto : Missing off, missing leg, plumb as they get.
D. Toretto lbw b. A. Ud-Din 5 (9b 0x4 0x6) SR:55.56

Saunders to Ridge : [missed runout] Yes! Wait! No! Confusion reigns as Ridge attempts a suicidal run. Luckily for him, Theak has thrown to the wrong end, allowing Ridge to regain his ground.

46.5   .   Saunders to Ridge : [dropped] Ridge plays a fierce pull straight to Maddox at mid-wicket, who grasses the chance.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Beginning to realise fielding is super important...

10-0-44-6 - Asif Ud-Din! What a gun! I'm sorta sad I sold murugappa as it leaves me without a decent batsmen but I guess he was aging anyway. Ud-Din will be the spiritual leader of my club and he always leads from the front. On a day most of the bowling was shocking Ud-Din saved us from total humilation.

Cookie Monster

don't know how a 22 and 23 yr old bowlers can get a 50 run partnership??

Nails

End of over 50 (18 runs) - Hillly's Heroics(385-8) RR 7.70

need new bowlers :'(

Maybe I should have kept muru, oh well. Once I get the bowling attack right I won't need super guns :o

Cookie Monster

you do realise that he is still playing, his still in your lineup?

Yep. But he won't be after this match... i.e. for my league game

http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=494289

This guy should be on fielding this? I sorta want to train him on batting though :'(

Cookie Monster

i think you should go batting while you can, fielding can pop when there 26+ still, train his batting for a couple of pops, then fielding.
