I have a problem. Every time i try to bid on someone for a price i think is reasonable, i am always outbidded by someone who bid  outrageously more. This has happened 5 times in the last 2 days. Just then, i was willing to pay up to $75000 on a allrounder res/cap, and the top bid is $79k. I've given up on him now.

Players are expensive this team of year, but will be cheap cheap cheap EOS :)

nails your last wicket partnership has done well...

42.5   .   Gonnella to Sim : [dropped] Superb delivery by Gonnella that went through Sim like a bad curry!! The end result could have been just as messy for Sim if Preddey had been able to glove the ball, a definite edge there.

Definitely! Ud-Din was dropped early on and they've put on 35 since and combined for a partnership of 46 runs so far!

43.2   W   Adlam to Ud-Din : Adlam strikes! And a collective groan from the crowd as Ud-Din departs. It was nothing more than a straight ball on a length. Ud-Din tried to glide it to third man, but it was far too close and crashed into his pads to trap him in front.
A. Ud-Din lbw b. R. Adlam 23 (35b 2x4 0x6) SR:65.71

Oh well, 46 run 10th wicket partnership is still very good! Especially considering Ud-Din got dropped after the partnership was only 11! Makes the total a tad more respectable! Probably not really defendable (spelling?), but miracles happen...

44.1   4   Gonnella to Sim : Half-volley. Punished.

    End of over 44 (21 runs) - Cicjose(373-2) RR 8.48
J. Poidevin 139 (101b) , W. Sim 178 (123b) , P. Simpson 7-0-78-0

43.6   4   Simpson to Poidevin : Simpson's missed his calling in life here. He should have been a baker, as these are some wonderful pies he's delivering. Poidevin gorges himself on another and that's 4 more to the total.
43.5   4   Simpson to Poidevin : [misfield] That's gone straight through Talbot's legs for 4. Simpson is fuming.
43.4   4   Simpson to Poidevin : Poidevin gets a gift of a delivery from Simpson and he promptly smashes it to the pickets.

43.3   1   Simpson to Sim : Straight back down the ground and the bowler is able to get a hand on it. With Poidevin backing up, if that had hit, he would be gone. Luckily, it misses the stumps and the batsmen pick up a single.
43.2   6   Simpson to Sim : Bang. Out of the middle and out of the ground, 6 runs.

46 run 10th wicket partnership Nails well done

45.2   W   Simpson to Poidevin : It's up! Towers is coming round quickly for it... and takes the catch! Rash thinking and a bit of premeditation from Poidevin has him on the way back to the pavilion.
J. Poidevin c F. Towers b. P. Simpson 144 (104b 14x4 2x6) SR:138.46

that just broke a 296 run partnership.....

PowerBug

End of over 44 (6 runs) - PowerBugCC(173-7) RR 3.93
G. MacGill 10 (13b) , A. Gregory 34 (53b) , P. Burns 7-0-30-2

44.3   W
Binney to Gregory : A loose delivery from Binney pitched wide outside the off stump. Gregory leans back and cuts hard, ending up with a feather touch and Carter holds on well to a fairly hard chance.
A. Gregory c S. Carter b. A. Binney 35 (55b 2x4 0x6) SR:63.64

End of over 45 (2 runs) - PowerBugCC(175-8) RR 3.89
C. Dent 0 (3b) , G. MacGill 11 (14b) , A. Binney 8-2-30-2

45.3   W
Burns to Dent : Short of a length, Dent goes back to cut the ball through point but it doesn't bounce and the off bail has been removed.
C. Dent b. P. Burns 0 (4b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

45.6   W
Burns to MacGill : Got him! Beaten in the flight and the ball sneaks through the gate and disturbs the furniture. Lovely bowling.
G. MacGill b. P. Burns 16 (18b 1x4 0x6) SR:88.89

End of over 46 (6 runs) - PowerBugCC(181-10) RR 3.93
H. Hendricks 1 (1b) , P. Burns 8-0-36-4

Need to defend 181.

It's just a friendly PB. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I would concentrate on buying players for your team at EOS when you can get the right players for the right price. I hope that AR was young, as there is no way a reas/cap AR would be worth 75k. If you are getting outbid straight away, it might be because they other bidder has an agent set for him to a certain amount.

Remember there are many players on the TM, so need to rush.

Yes he is 21.
Still 75k is probably too much for a 21yo reas/cap. The TM is a little inflated ATM

AFEV

Reas/cap 21 y.o is barely worth 1k :x

8-6 Suited

He is useless and is currently at 79k. Noobs pay ridiculous prices though however.
