Not necessarily Baz, but it would be helpful.

It really depends on your opponent Nails. If they are terrible he could dominate, if they outrate you, he may not do as well.

A franchise league is where teams get drafted by different managers who are in charge of their own franchise. Each team in the franchise plays a game against another team in a different franchise and this continues til all franchises have played each other.

If there's a competition/league/whatever going on I want in  8)

I'll use my spec/spec to singlehandedly win it....

How good can I expect a spec/spec rfs to be on a crumbling windy wicket? (It's how I've been working all my pitches to be as he's by far my best bowler)

What exactly is a franchise league? I'll pay to be a member if I have to.
nah your to crap ;) JKS  :-*

brb crying myself to sleep....

or joining in with everyone else and quitting ff :O
haha seems like the trend. Good2 see your enthusiasm for FTP. Hope you have a good season after EOS.

Teams get drafted?? Doesn't make sense to me? You draft an entire team? ??? or players maybe? idk :confused

Whole teams

eg. My franchise, where I am captain, drafts your team to play under my franchise.

Then your team would play Baz's team, who was drafted by Maca and his franchise.

Does that make more sense? :)

Yep... so if you have a shower team it's to your advantage, cause someone would get stuck with my showwwer team?

Not really cos you are trying to win as a franchise by winning the individual games against teams who are part of the other franchises.

Team captains would try and draft the best teams first and then the best available.

Back to making zero sense to me...

So do we draft players to make a team? Or do I have my team and then baz says I want nails team and he gets my team?

When you say draft a team I was thinking of it wrong... You mean like AFL draft where we take turns picking players? lol

Instead of picking players, we pick people's FTP teams.

Then all of those teams picked by the same person, are part of the same "franchise".

I need someone else to help me out. :P

I pick R&B
ML picks Hellopplz
I pick Nails
ML picks some random showercow.

First step in relegation avoidance is getting closer ..

End of over 30 (4 runs) - The GrooveHorses(123-5). 151 runs required from 10 overs. RR 4.10 RRR 15.10
C. McLeill 12 (25b) , H. Maraziotis 22 (31b) , G. Jamieson 7-0-27-2

Although I might need Shaggy to throw his game against me next week to be a certainty to avoid relegation   :-X

But isn't there say 16 teams for 16 people... don't we just get 1 team each?

CrowsFan

No cos not everyone has a franchise. With 16 teams there would most pokey be 4 franchise owners. Each owner then picks a team in the draft until each franchise has 4 teams
