Ran away with a 9 wicket win in the end. Everyone of my bowlers got a wicket (Even Bartrim, who was only bowling his part time darts cause I needed a fifth bowler). Young Sicco Harms took 2/18. Pony took 3. For some reason Dareeju was opening instead of Ryan and he failed, but Bartrim and Ryan saw us home easily. Now a game clear on top, can pretty much secure 1st next week as I play 2nd place PE Warriors. Needless to say the full strength Pack squad will be out for that game

Dry is such a showerful pitch. Whoever bowl's first nearly always wins. Ridiculous.

Will keep that in mind i normally go green or uneven for my youth games....

Sorry Shaggy. I saw the mail too late. :(

It's alright mate, BP bought him anyway so its fine. I didn't get the batsman that I wanted but I got a spec/spec FM instead. :P

Ill be promoting in T20 into Div 3 but I dont like my chances in Div 4 SOD. My league is just  :o
Myself, Valk, Wookie and Eaglets! haha.
RB we are now 1-1 in our Test Series. Are we playing 5 matches or 3?  :P

CrowsFan

Just picked up this 19 y.o project. Will work on fielding for a while to get that up to a reasonable or so then re-evaluate...

not bad CF, how much you pay? secondaries need a bit of work but he could be a handy tail-end batsmen as well as a good bowler ;)

CrowsFan

Paid 35k which is probably a bit much. Had been bidding when he was at about 10k then logged on with 40 minutes to go before he sold and put on that bid just to make someone else pay more (cos I am mean) but no one outbid me so got stuck with him.
Yeah the batting is a bonus and with the skilled batting and seam specialist he could be handy during the final overs. But he would still be batting at 11 for me cos all my bowlers are quite good batters :)

pyronerd

id say a touch of an overpay but not too bad, being only 19 you have some time to get his secondaries all to avg or reas by sometimes next season

roo boys!

Bazinga

I played Alex today in a SOD friendly at the Sheep Station, on an uneven pitch with cloudy weather. Alex batted first and posted a very competitive total of 191 after being bowled out on the 46th over. It was an even batting performance with Currie top scoring and being the last wicket to fall with 60 off 72 balls. For my bowlers, Ajireen and Jay Cartwright picked up 4 wickets each. Alex's bowlers dominated, bowling me out 56 runs short of the target. It was a disappointing batting effort with my top scorer being Rajesh Koothrappali with just 26.

hmm rating 170k with a youth keeper with reasonable/ordinary batting and capable/reasonable keeping and fielding. Thats not to bad since i have a pretty young team

That keeper just popped to reliable keeping. Not bad for a 18 year old
