End of over 50 (15 runs) - The Matchbox Matadors(397-7) RR 7.94
W. Orange 22 (9b) , A. Suriyaprakash 84 (46b) , P. Gibson 10-0-98-4

Suri scores his highest score, but runs out of time to get to a century :(
92 runs scored in the last 6 overs to push the Matadors to a great score. McEvoy the highest scorer for the team with 111 runs from 93 balls.

I think you're in trouble there RB. They should score 10 runs an over easy :P

WOW! What a game! I won by 1 run! Spectacular stuff.

All hope looked lost at this point:

End of over 15 (7 runs) - West Edinburgh Wanderers(93-0). 117 runs required from 35 overs. RR 6.20 RRR 3.34
R. Lee 35 (42b) , R. Davidson 55 (51b) , S. Junior 3-0-18-0

and we weren't looking great here either:

End of over 46 (7 runs) - West Edinburgh Wanderers(207-9). 3 runs required from 4 overs. RR 4.50 RRR 0.75
M. Hall 21 (17b) , S. Cresswick 1 (2b) , P. Jackson 8-0-32-2

But alas, Junior removed Hall later that over to pull of a really big win for us. This means I am 4 wins 4 losses but I have been outrated in a 2 of those wins. Sitting 5th at the moment but only a bit of NRR away form the team I beat tonight, West Edinburgh Wanderers 8)

Didn't think I was a chance when I left and they were about 80 for nothing :P

It may take a couple more miracles but I might be able to avoid relegation while being the worst rated team in my league. It is wins like this which makes the youth policy worthwhile.

Nice job Alex :)

I won my game by 247 runs. Bowled them out for 150 in 37.5 overs.

2. Nathan McEvoy - 111 runs from 93 balls
1. Abhipuspa Priyadarshini - 2 for 23 from 9, plus 25 runs from just 10 balls

In other results from the league BP succumbed to his first defeat of the season, going down by 9 runs even though he out rated the other team 171k to 159k. ZZ also suffered a loss to the third placed team by 3 wickets. ZZ couldn't manage the upset losing the ratings 143k to 156k.

Surprisingly this puts me first on the table, equal on points with BP but with a better NRR. The bad thing is I rate worse than the teams in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place and so will probably lose to all 3 and end up finishing 4th :(

I love bot bashing. Jeffrey made 228* and Stephens fell for 142. No bowlers did anything spectacular.

Toss: Tickle My Timber won the toss and elected to bat.

Still undefeated. Just need to pull off another in against equisite and beat everyone else or lose to equisite, beat everyone else and maintain a large NRR ead to take the title.

Devila Daryapurkar will retire tonight. After a brilliant career with FSCC spanning over almost 3 seasons it is time for him to go. After 10 SOD matches this year Darya has only managed 120 runs and has seemingly lost the magical touch that saw him dominate back in Australia. It will be strange without the old man but he needs to make way for the next generation of cricketers at the club.

Jeffrey has made 228* and 253* in his last 3 games this week. :> What a legend.

roo boys!

Noooooooo! Darya :'(
