I worked on the same principle as you HP and CF and decided to play my team last night without my 19yo's

So, I had 5 18yo's, 2 17yo's and 4 16yo's

Result: Fletch's No Balls won by 56 runs

Fletch's No Balls Hawka C.C

Yeah ML as Fletch said 1 game to go and you shouldn't lost to hawka!
Well fletch not the worst of ratings there, and with half the season still to go you should be able to get that close to 75k by the start of the next season :)

19.3   1 W   Robinson to Sim : [runout] Smart work from the fielder there and Sim is run out comfortably.
W. Sim run out (A. Corbett) 87 (55b 10x4 1x6) SR:158.18

32.1   1 W   Loney to French : [runout] Played past point and the batsmen decide to take on the fielder. Sadly they are both watching the ball and collide. A wild throw comes in and is taken by Carroll mid-pitch, who has the presence of mind to select the correct end and throw down the stumps.
D. French run out (P. Carroll) 69 (49b 6x4 1x6) SR:140.82

Both out batsmen got runout.....  ::)

39.4   W   Walker to Aitken : [catch] A loose delivery from Walker pitched wide outside the off stump. Aitken leans back and cuts hard, ending up with a feather touch and Carroll holds on well to a fairly hard chance.
B. Aitken c P. Carroll b. S. Walker 21 (18b 2x4 0x6) SR:116.67

39.6   4   Walker to O'Hanlon : [misfield] Bartlett puts a foot out but can't manage to stop the ball. Perhaps he should try using his hands next time?

39.5   6   Walker to O'Hanlon : Bang. Out of the middle and out of the ground, 6 runs.

My spin specialist is getting ready to bat out the overs against spin (hopefully)

41.2   W   Bartlett to Lansdown : In the zone outside the off stump, from a length and Lansdown seems to be in trance and just pokes at it. Fatal edge. He slams his bat into his pads as he walks off, furious with himself. He's really marching back to the pavilion now.
M. Lansdown c P. Carroll b. S. Bartlett 160 (120b 14x4 1x6) SR:133.33
  :'( he did his job

That is the 50 partnership (51 runs, 27b, 4x4, 1x6) SR:188.89

Sold James Johnstone to The Institusionalized for $422,128

Yeah dog. Persistance pays off with JJ.

Nice work shaggy. What will you do with the money?

8-6 Suited

Going after an older keeper, 27-28yo to replace Hogan. Looking at Ewen Mitchell closely.

Also going for my next level of senior academy, which is satisfactory at the moment. A couple weeks on Improving++ should pop that.

Fletch74

Nice effort Shaggy, what did you list him at?

21.6   W   Addison to Walker : There's an edge! French gets his hands to it but can't hold on and Campbell shows superb anticipation and reflexes to quickly grab the looping ball. A very relieved Addison joins them to celebrate.
S. Walker c C. Campbell b. R. Addison 8 (16b 0x4 0x6) SR:50.00

22.4   W   Bee to Loney : Sharp wicketkeeping there! Bee turned the ball a mile after drawing Loney out of his crease. French flung his arm out and after taking the ball switched hands and flicked off the bails while still diving to the side. What a stumping!
E. Loney st D. French b. G. Bee 6 (17b 1x4 0x6) SR:35.29

22.6   W   Bee to Austin : Gone! Edged onto the stumps and bowled. Terrible shot by Austin there. Bee is ecstatic with that wicket!
J. Austin b. G. Bee 0 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

28.4   W   Bee to Robinson : Bee has given that one plenty of air, and beaten Robinson in the flight. Robinson didn't get to the pitch of the ball and its spun back and bowled him through the gate!
S. Robinson b. G. Bee 1 (7b 0x4 0x6) SR:14.29

Matthew Lansdown (3 points) for his 160 from 120

Grant Bee (2) 5-2-10-3

Robert O'Hanlon for his 68 from 32

Nice Shaggy 8)
I reckon mine will only be a week or two away from a pop to superior.

Very possible. I'm on the market for some Ord+/Ord+ 16 y.o's to help out for the future. Means I can get rid of some of the Poor/Rea 17 y.o's not getting any games.

Primaries for his Age isn't great and neither is fielding. Could put him up and see if he sells to a new manager. May not go for much though :(.

If anybody is in need for a Project Medium: http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=539960
Acc/Acc Medium with Ordinary secondaries but Gifted Power. Don't mind if he goes for 1k as his secondaries aren't up to scratch and he won't be used much anymore.

Alex7089

I know...Thinking I might just retire him. It will be hard, but I need to let go of the old fella.
Probably on Saturday.

Nice effort Shaggy, what did you list him at?

Listed him at 300k starting price so I was happy when he got the initial bid, even happier with 422k.

He was expert/expert/spectacular at 23 with reasonable fielding and due for an experience pop soona s well.
