Well I have my answer to what my new team rates. Wasn't actually a real game persay. I woke up with about 10 minutes before the deadline for accepting and saw ML's challenge so he couldn't set orders, hence my boys racked up 417. Wright batted well though.

Very nice 20 y.o's Baz 8). Better than most I could find but looks to certainly be a squad that can pay off now and later :). Just hope their secondaries aren't too far behind ;).

Cheers guys   ;)  Naturally, with most of my younger players having good primaries, their secondaries will be a little lower. All of my 20yr olds are currently on fielding training. Their fielding levels are all at ordinary or average, and I aim to have them at capable by season's end. Endurance levels are all between average and capable, which isn't too bad.

My plan is to train primaries for the next two or three seasons (after fielding reaches capable) and then work on endurance and power after that.

Beat HP today in a friendly by 4 wickets.

HP won the toss and decided to bat first on a crumbling pitch. Managed to bowl them all out from 152 from 42.2 overs. Their top scorer being Jeffers who got 28. Wickets were evenly spread with 4 of my bowlers taking 2 wickets each, so great effort by all.

In reply I chased that target down in 46 overs losing 6 wickets. Top scorer was Deem with 44 (boundary hitter talent is very handy).

3. Dexter Morgan - the serial killer struck with 3 for 32 from 8 overs for HP, not enough though to get his team over the line
2. Elliot Ridge - 2 for 15 from 6 overs, getting out HP's opener and number 3 batter
1. John Boraston - 2 for 35 from 10 plus a catch.
As you can see a game dominated by the bowlers!

My batting lets me down for like the 3rd or 4th straight match ::). Good win CF and just means I need to pick up better batsman. May include axing one or two of my older ones for a GUN :(.

HP as you can see bowling is very much my strong point so bowling pitches like crumbling are always very handy for me.
My batting is pretty rubbish to be honest! Would like to get better players, but can't afford it...

Well i beat Bazinga in my friendly yesterday by 50 runs.

I batted first with Subodh openning with 60 and Scott and Glove coming in later making 49 and 43. Cartwright was the stand out f bowlers taking 5/37 on a hard wicket. With my boys putting together a total of 9/265 batting out the full 50 overs.

Bazinga then went into bat with the notable batters making; Morton 42, Ajireen 40 and Mooljee 49. With Pilliani taking 4/49 for my lads. Bazinga finished all out for 215 in the 46th over.
