Terrible team.
All of those guys are on par with my guys Primary wise, most better than half of my team :-X.

Bazinga

Here is my best 11 guys .. in no particular order.

1. Jay Cartwright 20 yr old outs/exp medium bowler with accomplished captaincy
2. Mathew Dedini 20 yr ols exp/exp batsman
3. Sheldon Cooper 20 yr old rel/exp fasty
4. Will McKenzie 20 yr old exp/exp f/m
5. Rajesh Koothrappali 20 yr old exp/exp batsman
6. Mohammad Karim 20 yr old acc/exp batsman
7. Aravinda Ajireen 20 yr old all/rounder
8. Bordoloi Mooljee 21 yr old keeper
9. Ariyasiri Gangodawila 22 yr old spec/exp wristy
10. William Stewart 28 yr old outs/outs bat
11. John Morton 26 yr old outs/exp bat

Average age of my regular playing team is 21.545. I rated about 140k in my last SOD game.

As most of you will know, my current aim is to target younger players which is allowing me to invest into my SA. Personally, I am not motivated by results, I'd rather develop my own players. I plan to sell both Stewart and Morton sometime this season, and then find another two gun 20yr old batsman at EOS.

My SA should reach deluxe sometime next season, and when this is achieved combined with my Senior squad being completed, I can then start investing into my youths.

Cookie - I'm not having a go at you - but everyone has their own preference on how to play From The Pavilion. Remember, it is only a game. Just because you think that the way you play the game is the right way, doesn't give you the right to criticise other people's teams etc. If people want advice, they will ask for it, which I myself have done with some of the more experienced FTP players on FF.

Very nice 20 y.o's Baz 8). Better than most I could find but looks to certainly be a squad that can pay off now and later :). Just hope their secondaries aren't too far behind ;).

Master Q

Looks very good primary rise Baz. What about Secondaries?

roo boys!

Very nice looking squad there Bazinga!

OK I'll figure mine out now, I'll do my entire squad because there is no certain XI for me anymore. Depends on pitch/fatigue/opposition etc.

1. Rashid Ali - 26 - Outs/Spec Opener talent, good secondaries.
2. Kumara Jaseam - 29 - Exp/Reli with Spectacular secondaries and Exceptional experience.
3. Renelle Furlonge - 26 - Spec/Outs with pretty good secondaries and experience.
4. Wayne Makinson - 28 - Spec/Outs same as Furlonge really.
5. Joe Harrison - 27 - Spec/Outs pretty good secondaries.
6. Arthur Cullen - 25 - Exp/Exp/Outs keeper with Spin Specialist talent.
7. Chappan Feeqa - 27 - Expert summary bat, Spectacular summary bowl, great secondaries and Expert exp. Also is a Natural leader. this guy is a GUN. Accom fielding
8. Shaggy Chiba - 26 - Outs/Outs RWS with pretty good secondaries and experience. Also has capable batting summary and safe hands.
9. Oliver Nic Leach - 28 - Spec/Spec RFM, Outs endurance exceptional power, also a gun.
10. Adam Teakles - 21 - Outs/Exp RFS, decent secondaries and exp. Possibly a future Nat.
11. Tom Stevenson - 25 - Outs/Outs LF, have been working his secondaries up since he was 23. Still a hard slog ;)

Reserves-
Abbud Qasim - 28 - Exp/Exp RFM, good secondaries and fielding, with safe hands talent. Yet I am contemplating selling the guy. Thoughts?
Hugh McInnes - 20 - Accom/Exp, fielding is gifted so is working up. Average experience. Since I bought him he has popped every week (4 in a row :D)
Dumisani Zuma - 21 - Exp/Exp RM with bouncer talent. He's OK. Doesn't get many games though.

Average Age (of XI) = 26.18

Average Age (including reserves) = 25.5

Master Q

R&B I reckon if you want a good price for him this is your last season to sell Kumara Jaseam.

That squad is really good! Except it's really old  :-X

Nah Jaseam can stay until he starts plopping and I can just fire him/sell him for not much. He is there because of his (fairly) low wage. I copied Alex's idea with Darya and thought - if I can get an Outstanding summary batsman with a wage <5k then that's a win.

Yeah I know it's old, but I prefer to call them "matured" ;)

Alex7089

My team will be that old one day :'(
:P
Yep Darya has been really good for me over the last 2 or 3 seasons. He is on the edge at the moment, if a good 20 y.o pops up and I can afford him he will most likely get the boot :-X

i never said you were focusing on youths Q so you get your facts right. the youth investment for seniors in investing all your money into academies and young players. Its still good to invest into 3 or 4 seasoned veterans to help your team ahead gaining gate takings, match results and hopefully promotion

roo boys!

For today's game, it's Humid/Uneven, should I play my best spinner (Chiba, Outs summary WS) or give Zuma (Exp/Exp RM boucer talent) a go? The conditions favour Zuma, but Chiba is 3 summary levels better. Chiba I think.

Beat HP today in a friendly by 4 wickets.

HP won the toss and decided to bat first on a crumbling pitch. Managed to bowl them all out from 152 from 42.2 overs. Their top scorer being Jeffers who got 28. Wickets were evenly spread with 4 of my bowlers taking 2 wickets each, so great effort by all.

In reply I chased that target down in 46 overs losing 6 wickets. Top scorer was Deem with 44 (boundary hitter talent is very handy).

Man of the Match
3. Dexter Morgan - the serial killer struck with 3 for 32 from 8 overs for HP, not enough though to get his team over the line
2. Elliot Ridge - 2 for 15 from 6 overs, getting out HP's opener and number 3 batter
1. John Boraston - 2 for 35 from 10 plus a catch.
As you can see a game dominated by the bowlers!
