BratPack

End of over 33 (6 runs) - The Brat Pack(173-4) RR 5.24
G. Boyle 43 (52b) , C. Strydom 71 (74b) , O. Murray 5-0-27-0

We're on a flat pitch FFS. Any chance you cows could get a flowering move on?

I was the same BP...4 for about that I think. Although that was like 20 overs ago :P

End of over 35 (12 runs) - Feeling Sheepish(287-5) RR 8.20
G. Vint 21 (28b) , A. Collins 36 (27b) , D. Connolly 8-0-65-0

Great over.

That is the 50 partnership (52 runs, 47b, 3x4, 1x6) SR:110.64
Well these two have risen to the occasion. Happy with their efforts.

End of over 36 (9 runs) - Feeling Sheepish(296-5) RR 8.22
G. Vint 28 (31b) , A. Collins 38 (30b) , A. Rosen 8-0-67-1

Well then maybe your AR is the man. I feel someone is the man. Is there still one of the guys from the big partnership in? If so he is the man :P
Haha the AR was not the man either :(
34.3   W   Hudson to Wood : Bouncer, and hooked straight to the man in the deep! Out!
V. Wood c D. Kingdon b. M. Hudson 3 (7b 0x4 0x6) SR:42.86

Nor was AR v2.0...
34.6   W   Hudson to Beattie : [catch] Beattie drives at a wide ball, but only succeeds in giving an easy catch to Reimers at point.
A. Beattie c S. Reimers b. M. Hudson 0 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

Down to Donfeld to score the runs now since Maloney and the other 2 remaining batsmen have dreadful batting. Donfeld opened the batting for me today and has just made it to 100 :)

End of over 36 (4 runs) - The Matchbox Matadors(239-7) RR 6.64
R. Donfeld 101 (93b) , R. Maloney 1 (2b) , W. Powell 6-0-36-1

Donfeld he was in the super partnership I predicted. :) Gone very well, great knock from the young fellow.

End of over 37 (8 runs) - Feeling Sheepish(304-5) RR 8.22
A. Collins 40 (32b) , G. Vint 34 (35b) , D. Connolly 9-0-73-0

37.1   W   Rosen to Vint : A bit of an argument in the commentary box about whether that was the slider or the zooter, but it's all academic as it hit Vint on the back leg below the knee-roll.
G. Vint lbw b. A. Rosen 34 (36b 4x4 0x6) SR:94.44

:(
Still he did well.

End of over 38 (7 runs) - Feeling Sheepish(311-6) RR 8.18
A. Collins 41 (34b) , P. Jackson 6 (3b) , A. Rosen 9-0-74-2

38.3   W   Connolly to Jackson : The only thing that was missing was the bat. As plumb as they get!
P. Jackson lbw b. D. Connolly 10 (6b 2x4 0x6) SR:166.67

Really didn't need that. Just need Junior to stick with Collins because Mahesh and Sodumo can't bat.

End of over 39 (10 runs) - Feeling Sheepish(321-7) RR 8.23
S. Junior 5 (2b) , A. Collins 42 (35b) , D. Connolly 10-0-83-1

Collins on strike.

37.2   W   Powell to van der Hoeven : Gone! Oh, too cute from van der Hoeven. He walks across his stumps, trying to paddle the ball to fine leg, but instead misses completely and leg stump goes cartwheeling!
J. van der Hoeven b. W. Powell 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00
37.1   W   Powell to Maloney : Oh dear, Maloney has just chipped that back to Powell for the simplest of return catches! Powell can't believe his luck!
R. Maloney c & b. W. Powell 3 (6b 0x4 0x6) SR:50.00

Not even going to bat out the innings!! 9 down now!
End of over 38 (4 runs) - The Matchbox Matadors(248-9) RR 6.53
S. Mathea 3 (3b) , R. Donfeld 105 (97b) , W. Powell 7-0-40-3
Need Donfeld to keep hold of the strike as I really don't trust Mathea as a batter...

Unlucky for losing Vint alex, but he stayed in a while and got some runs :)

BratPack

End of over 36 (11 runs) - The Brat Pack(203-4) RR 5.64
G. Boyle 57 (62b) , C. Strydom 86 (83b) , K. Masinga 6-0-41-0

That's more like it....

36.4WMurray to Strydom : [catch]   Bouncer, and hooked straight to the man in the deep! Out!
C. Strydom c A. Musa b. O. Murray 91 (86b 6x4 0x6) SR:105.81
That isn't

End of over 37 (11 runs) - The Brat Pack(214-5) RR 5.78
J. Howlett 0 (0b) , G. Boyle 63 (65b) , O. Murray 7-0-46-1

Alex7089

Only 2 overs to go Donfeld will face most of the strike and get you through ;)

Yeah Vint went well, I am pleased with him. Did what he needed to and steadied the ship. Still likely to get bowled out (embarrassing :\ ) But he showed more heart than the specialist batsmen.

Collins going well.

End of over 40 (9 runs) - Feeling Sheepish(330-7) RR 8.25
S. Junior 10 (5b) , A. Collins 46 (38b) , A. Rosen 10-0-83-2

I'm just glad Junior knows how to hold a bat :P

CrowsFan

38.6   W   Hudson to Mathea : That's bowled! Hudson looks thrilled to get the wicket and directs Mathea back to the pavilion.
S. Mathea b. M. Hudson 3 (6b 0x4 0x6) SR:50.00

End of over 39 (5 runs) - The Matchbox Matadors(253-10) RR 6.49
R. Donfeld 110 (100b) , M. Hudson 8-0-39-3

Donfeld left unbeaten after opening the batting, if only my others batters could have stepped up :(
Lost the final 7 wickets in just 9 overs!!

On a green wicket I should be able to defend this, however missing my best 2 seamers so anything could happen!!

Alex7089

Donfeld carried the bat...You should be proud CF, amazing innings :)

End of over 41 (5 runs) - Feeling Sheepish(335-7) RR 8.17
S. Junior 13 (9b) , A. Collins 48 (40b) , B. Mguni 6-0-47-1

Junior giving Collins strike. Happy to see it. Not as happy to see Collins handing it back at the start of each over :P

BratPack

 End of over 40 (16 runs) - The Brat Pack(256-6) RR 6.40
G. Boyle 81 (75b) , L. Brouwer 3 (1b) , K. Masinga 8-0-68-1

Way to bring it home boys. Howlett 21 off 7 :P

CrowsFan

Yep very proud of him. He may make it in to my senior team if he continues to develop well :)
He is 18 and currently reas/cap, but gifted in batting. Training fielding at the moment, it is ordinary, but will get up to avg. Then back to batting. Hopefully will be cap/rel by end of season then will re-evaluate what to do when he is 19 :)

Alex7089

That is 50 runs for Collins (53 runs, 43b 2x4 1x6) SR:123.26

Well played, well deserved. Well done Austin Collins.

End of over 42 (9 runs) - Feeling Sheepish(344-7) RR 8.19
S. Junior 14 (10b) , A. Collins 56 (45b) , S. Holden 6-0-43-1

CrowsFan

Well done Collins, now he just needs to keep going for another 8 overs :)

Nice, looks like a great player ;)
Sometimes I consider deactivating my account and starting again focusing on youths. It is like having 15 youth pulls at once :P It would be fun and interesting but I'm happy with my young guys for now. Maybe after this generation I will go youths?

42.2   W   Mguni to Collins : That's beautiful. The ball held its line and clean hit the stumps, the bails are currently doing their best bird impersonation.
A. Collins b. B. Mguni 62 (47b 2x4 2x6) SR:131.91

The curse. Has. Returned :\
It is OK 62 is a wonderful effort, happy with it and happy with the total although it'd be better if I didn't get bowled out.

CrowsFan

Stupid curse I hate it so much!!

End of over 3 (1 run) - Hawka C.C(10-0). 244 runs required from 37 overs. RR 3.33 RRR 6.59
L. Owens 2 (7b) , R. Hunter 7 (11b) , S. Mathea 2-0-4-0

Not got any wickets yet, but keeping the run rate down :)
At this point I was 2 for 13 haha
