I should lose next week, if he plays his full strength team that is. Last week he rated 162k, which I can easily beat by about 10k if I play my full squad, but he has 4 NATs, and only 2 of them played last week :-\ Also, his team is named after West Coast players ;D

Yes, 42k is probably too much for a medium, but he can bat, field and decent secondaries and experience. Yes, I see that fatigue, nothing one week of resting can't fix. And he has over 5300 spare rating points!
