Haha 5 overs, 4 maidens, 2 for 3. Pretty darn good bowling figures there for my worst bowler!

http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=415701 worth it?

Excellent quality spinner at only 21 years old.  Will be in the first xi for many many years to come. Just not sure that I would pay THAT much for a player of that quality when I can get that quality for considerably cheaper at 2 to 4 years older - but I could see coaches who would buy that kind of player for a big price.

Boomz

Yeah thats what I'm tossing up :-\ if he doesnt get much more expensive then I think i'll put in a late bid.

so you are prepared to pay at least $525k to buy him cos that is the minium bid (as I am looking at the player at the time of this post)

I surely wouldnt.  I could get 3 - 5 players of around outstanding primaries at around ages 23 - 25. (just gotta be a little patient to pick the right ones)

Boomz

Yeah I like him :-\  I doubt i'll go for him though I'm sorting out my budget though as theres 4 players and I want at least 2 of them...

valkorum

Look at players in the 23- 26 yo age range. Plenty of value there (IMO)

Boomz

Yeah 26 is the oldest I'll go for (I hope :P) theres a couple of 23yo's ending tomorrow I'll be chasing...

You should see the length of my list BOOMZ :P It's massive.

DazBurg

well i ended up losing in the random youth game he was ranked 610 to my 1202
came right down to the wire saying he won by 7 wickets doesn't so the whole thing i mean i only lost 3 wickets in my innings aswell so neither team had a great day for bowling

Tunbridge Wells CC won by 7 wickets

his 2nd highest scorer made 79 yet was dropped on 27 and again on 60 before being run out
and his 2nd highest scorer with 62 was dropped on 6
so thats what lost me the game

i had more dropped catches even though i had better ratings in fielding

roo boys!
