14.6   2   Edwards to French : [missed runout] Worked through mid wicket for a couple. They took on the throw from the deep and although Poidevin was struggling, Edwards failed to gather cleanly and they make it home safely.

16.3   1   Edwards to Poidevin : [missed runout] Poidevin plays it towards cover and sets off. Cox picks up and throws but misses the stumps by inches. A direct hit would have sent Poidevin back to the pavilion.

20.3   .   Suraj to Poidevin : [dropped] Poidevin hits it hard in the air towards point. Furlonge gets a hand to it but can't quite hold on.

3 missed opportunities by my opposition. Must make them pay :)

That is the 100 partnership (100 runs, 82b, 7x4, 1x6) SR:121.95

Should be number 3 for a while now :)

40.4   W   Sargeant to Poidevin : Poidevin has gone for a massive swipe, but has only managed to toe the ball in the air straight to Allen at mid-on.
J. Poidevin c R. Allen b. C. Sargeant 113 (96b 7x4 2x6) SR:117.71

49.2   W   Suraj to French : Floated up outside off stump, French is lured into an ugly swipe towards midwicket, but only manages a top edge which dollies up to Cox at gully.
D. French c K. Cox b. E. Suraj 161 (126b 18x4 0x6) SR:127.78

4/427 wishing it wasn't a friendly

7.2   .   Campbell to Cox : [dropped] Edged by Cox but dropped by Poidevin at gully, Cox can consider himself lucky

I wish Cody Doak (Sold for 1k), Nick Inverarity (Sold for 3k) and Alexander Fenton (Sold for 14k) all the best in their young and up and coming careers :). Inverarity and Fenton had been with me for literally my entire time on FTP so will be sadly missed :'(.

Same with me and Hof, I'm selling him tonight, gonna be tough :'(

Fletch74

I currently have 1 player I bought in the first week of FTP still with me, Mohammed. He's not getting games, unless I'm playing a bot, etc. I've decided to just build him up to sell in a few seasons.

He's a cap/cap/rel AR with cap endurance, and he's 21. My aim is for rel/outs/outs at least in a few seasons.

Cicjose

you would want to play him tho for experience pops wouldn't you?

Alex7089

I still have Linton who was the third player I ever bought and was in the first few days. Doesn't really play but I might start to play him I think over Yavar who will be sold at EOS.

Justin Bieber

I've still got a few still playing from early on. Goss, Morgan and McFarlane are the Big 3 for me back in the day :P. Flanagan, Selth and Habib came a little after but still quite some time.

a big win today in SOD, including this big over from brown

End of over 5 (24 runs) - PyroNerds XI(68-0) RR 13.60
D. Brown 50 (21b), J. Engelbert 18 (9b) , S. Pascoe 3-0-41-0
4.1   4   Pascoe to Brown : Inside edge by Brown only just misses the leg bail and then beats Nash who dives away to his left to no avail. Pascoe just stands there mid pitch, hands on head cursing his luck.
4.2   2   Pascoe to Brown : Short ball, hooked away by Brown. Wynand cuts it off just inside the rope, and the batsmen run 2.
That is the 50 partnership (50 runs, 26b, 6x4, 1x6) SR:192.31
4.3   4   Pascoe to Brown : [misfield] Pushed into the covers, where it runs through, rather than past the fielder. Pathetic effort from Pierneef.
4.4   6   Pascoe to Brown : Poor ball, very short and down the leg side. Brown gives this absolutely everything in his pull shot and it sails high to the fine leg rope
4.5   4   Pascoe to Brown : Well placed by Brown as he splits the fielders at cover for four runs.
4.6   4   Pascoe to Brown : Gentle away swinger, Brown gets an early stride in and drives on the up through the covers for four.
That is 50 runs for Brown (50 runs, 21b 8x4 1x6) SR:238.10

only for him to go out next over :o
