Hopefully that drags your NRR down BP!

Mine is on the way up, won by 9 wickets in the early overs.

It did. From 6.0 to 5.7.....but yours went from 5.7 to 5.4 so I still lead

Well I batted first, and wasn't very impressed by the performance. After the 20 overs were up, I finished with 5/121 on a Sticky pitch.

But my bowlers lit it up lead by Mark Carter, who picked up 4 for 11 off his 4 overs, getting them all out for 59.

Result:   Tickle My Timber won by 62 runs
Toss:   The Dogs Bollocks CC won the toss and elected to bowl.
Man of the match:   Mark Carter (3 points), William Campbell (2), Jack Hogan (1)

Bad luck CF, I played some Youth's as well last night, 5 in fact (1 16yo, and 4 17yo) as I'd sewn up 2nd place in T20, and was up against basically a bot.

I posted 2-243 with 3 Youths batting in that. If only I'd played my seniors? Then I bowled them out for 32, but only 1 wicket falling to a Youth :(

Result: Fletch's No Balls won by 211 runs

Ritchie is a Youth Pull from 2 weeks ago - he's played 1 Youth match, and 1 T20. These are his stats.

You should have played your whole youth team and you still would have smashed them!!
Ritchie looks like he can hit it quite well!

Yes I would have, but I need to beat ML in Youths tonight as well, plus these Youths are the only ones I want to get experience into for the future. Ritchie also has avg power and avg fielding, just his endo that is lacking. Once that is up to avg, it's primaries FTW

just checking. The base level for fielding is reasonable right ?

Alex7089

It is all linked to what you and your opponent rate ;)

8-6 Suited

It's a personal choice in my opinion. I personally have it at reasonable to play randomly right now. But for a regular it has to be capable.

Alex7089

Yeah I am trying to get mine up to a cap minimum as well. Another reason I' trying to get rid of some of my oldies >> None of them have capable fielding or better o.O :(

chrisuzz

well im just gonna aim to get my guys to reasonable fielding, as ive only got 2 not keepers in my senior squad with reasonable fielding :-\ What age should i start training strength, and at what level should be my mininum ?

Alex7089

Depends on whether they are a top order batsman, middle order batsman, strike bowler, economical bowler and what kind of bowler they are.
Top order batsmen need lower power but you'd want them to get to capable, then middle order want at least reliable.
Strike bowler will want capable or better, economical bowler average or reasonable. Spinners don't need power, mediums not as much as fast medium/fast.

Start training consistently from 23-24 and they should really be average by the time they get to that age, or higher.

How is that possible, I killed him ???

Alex7089

You need to kill him then bury him, otherwise it will plummet :P
I think bowling first is better because if they get 50 ish you can make it in 4-5 good overs with 10 wickets in hand. I made it in 3 and a half early in the season and had a NRR of 12 :o

roo boys!

I did bowl first, they made 86 which I chased down in 7.3 overs..
