End of over 7 (19 runs) - chrisuzz(49-2) RR 7.00
E. Higgins 2 (4b) , T. McPherson 29 (19b) , W. Wallace 2-0-26-0

6.6 1 Wallace to McPherson : A solid push to midwicket creates a run as McPherson takes advantage of Hill's weak throwing arm and races through for a single. That's good strike rotation there.
6.5 2 Wallace to McPherson : McPherson skips down the wicket and drives down to long off for a couple more.
6.4 6 Wallace to McPherson : Bang. Out of the middle and out of the ground, 6 runs.
6.3 4 Wallace to McPherson : And that's a lovely shot from McPherson driven straight back past Wallace for four, all along the ground!
6.2 4 Wallace to McPherson : Too full outside off. McPherson uses his hands beautifully to guide the ball with an open face past 2nd slip down to the 3rd man boundary.

6.1 2 Wallace to McPherson : McPherson gets onto that one quickly and whips it through midwicket

I reckon he might want some SOD action, and the single on the last ball too ! :P

9.2   W   Francese to Powell : Caught! Francese gets the breakthrough. He tosses one up outside off stump, Powell leans forward and plays a loose drive. The ball clips the outside edge and goes straight to Michael at first slip who has no problems with the catch.

what a last match Evans.

CrowsFan

Well they batted first and finished up posting 153-5 from their 20.
Ridge as usual did the damage with the ball picking up 4 for 26. I played my 17 y.o spinner in this game to give him some experience and unfortunately he got smashed :( finishing with none for 51 from 4 overs, however the keeper did drop a catch in his last over bowling. But he did take a catch :)

Probably wont be able to chase this down, but will give it a good go ;)

Have I any chance?

CrowsFan

Well that depends on lots of things ML. What type of pitch it is, how good their bowlers are, how good your batters are, if you get lucky with fielding checks etc...

MajorLazer

Crumbling.
We rate about the same, but I didn't set orders.

DAMN TRAINING! :P

Really has never been in doubt, Joubert put up a great spell to restrict them to 134 and it's just been pieced together in the run chase. Very basic chase from a slightly weakened team (Gorman is resting and if it had have been anyone but Highveld or Revivals Kelly and Bartrim would have)

The Brat Pack won by 5 wickets

The top 4 put on 20 runs between them which is just awful for specialist batsmen! Was at 24-5 so have done quite well to get to this point considering Deane is my keeper and Temiz is a 17 y.o youthie...

Got no chance of winning though and never expected to which is why I played some youths

roo boys!

Hopefully that drags your NRR down BP!

Mine is on the way up, won by 9 wickets in the early overs.

o.O Wasn't expecting to win so I didn't even play a near full strength side, and I set the orders a while ago so I left Pritchard out on an slow :P 12 run victory with Junior MOTM with his 3fa. What is better is I am now sitting a game clear on top in T20. Which is nice. Hope he doesn't get pissed and throw the game V Miami so I miss out on SOD promotion though :P

HillHero13

finished 3rd in SOD and T20 :(

1 match left and i'm 2 behind :(

Snowtop Hammerheads won by 50 runs

Finished on 103-6 from the 20 with Deane getting out on the final ball. Deane and Temiz were my only good batsmen with Deane getting 38 from 47 and Temiz 37 not out from 38. Great effort for a 17 year old. He now has a T20 average of 59 (granted he has only played twice). Hopefully he can do even better tomorrow in the youth match and score another century ;D

Man of the match: Elliot Ridge (3 points), Albert Quarrell (2), Donald MacLeod (1)
Ridge got MOTM for his 4 wickets, with his 2 players Quarrell and MacLeod getting 2nd and 3rd for their 2 for 8 and 3 for 19 respectively. It really was a bowlers game tonight

Nice and low since I played 2 youthies, and  a few other backup players. He usually rates about 10k more than that which is why I played the back up, if I had played my full strength I could have possibly beaten him, and so would have finished 5th instead of 6th as we will both lose next week. But oh well it is only 13k difference in prize money.

So I will now officially finish 6th in both T20 and SOD. Youth I will finish either 3rd or 4th :)
