thx CrowsFan, i want some success badly and i start well but my bowlers in the middle overs never seem to do very well

Piper to Trapp : Quicker delivery that pitches and turns sharply. Trapp pushes forward to defend but fails to make contact and the ball hits the pad right in front of the stumps. He was beaten by the extra pace and the sharp turn there.
C. Trapp lbw b. G. Piper 91 (71b 9x4 0x6) SR:128.17

ABOUT TIME

Case in point:

That is the 50 partnership (50 runs, 26b, 8x4, 0x6) SR:192.31

38.4   4   Robson to Trapp : Too full and drifting onto the pads, Trapp helps it on its way with a flick to fine leg.

38.1   4   Robson to Trapp : Trapp backs away to leg and slaps a short delivery up and over backward square for four. He wasn't in complete control of that shot.

    End of over 38 (14 runs) - Office Pull(229-5) RR 6.03
W. Achurch 3 (7b) , C. Trapp 78 (65b) , G. Piper 7-0-51-2

37.6   1   Piper to Trapp : Slightly overpitched and straying onto the pads. Trapp flicks it away for 1.

37.5   4   Piper to Trapp : A loose ball from Piper and Trapp has given it a mighty mash through cover. That's four runs.

37.4   4   Piper to Trapp : Text book sweep by Trapp and it's four runs on the score.

37.3   4   Piper to Trapp : Pushes it through a bit too wide and Trapp reaches out, slapping it past gully.

My first boundary in 8 overs

12.1   6   Morton to Heaney : It's high, it's handsome, it has hit someone in the crowd. Ouch!

BratPack

So I have R&B again in the what I like to refer to ask "I don't give a flower" bowl AKA our youth teams. Cause basically we do the same thing. Let the assistant pick the squad

CrowsFan

I hope the winner of the match gets a great trophy then! ;)

Cicjose

I won  :o

Gill to Heaney : Nicked and gone! A simple catch for Kelly, Heaney does not look too happy about that shot.
C. Heaney c S. Kelly b. W. Gill 98 (84b 5x4 2x6) SR:116.67

he only got one point for that the man of the match only got 91 runs :(

looking at that i was pretty much in front after 10 balls in the innings

Justin Bieber

Nice win Cic. Heaney was so close to the ton.

Cicjose

Now i need to back it up with a few on the trot

chrisuzz

wwoow :o :o

Only just lost my T20 :(
Made a total of 122 of my 20 overs and sent them into bat, they ended up reaching 123 at 19.5 and winning the game :( some terrific bowling though from Majorbanks taking 5/26 :)

If your team is unlocked, I can take a look and reply in the main FTP thread Cic?

Any training tips for my 1st change and spin bowlers????

J. Dawson (lfs)           8   0   44   1   5.50      0   0
P. Mortimer (rfm)       8   0   27   1   3.38      2   3
L. Campbell (rm)       8   0   64   0   8.00      1   1
A. Robson (lfs)          8   0   52   1   6.50      0   1
G. Piper (rfs)             8   0   55   3   6.88      1   1

Dawson needs Tech so Bowling Tech should do for him. Although Endurance needs alot of work as well :-\. I'll see if I can sell you a 17 y.o Spinner who is Ord/Ord :).
Mortimer can be trained in Bowling then Batting (or vice versa depending on what you need more right now). Tech will pop inbetween as it is trained with both.
I would say train Campbell as a straight out Batter. He could be a good batter for you as Bowling will cut into his Batting training.
Robson is great. I would say Bowling Tech and some Fitness whenever you can (to lift the Atrocious Endurance).
Piper is a little too old to be Poor/Ord. If you bowlers, train him in Bowling but will be Ave/Ave at a complete max by end of season (then fired as a senior more than likely).

I'll see if I can give you some bowlers as I have a bunch of Youth ones due to All rounders ;D.

http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=569429 - Ord/Ord Spinning 17 y.o.
http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=570789 - Ord/Ord Finisher 17 y.o with great secondaries.

I can give you these 2 guys as they don't play for me. I can always buy more cheap ones later in the season. These guys I think can help you straight away if you want them Cic.

Cicjose

I am loving Dawson as my main strike bowler
Mortimer i like his bowling so i might train him as a bowler
Campbell bowled only because i don't have a 5th bowler (unless i train Jansan to be that bowler)
Robson is a project i will work with
Piper was my last choice bowler who obviously needs quite a bit of work
