Probably because he scored more which bumped up his NRR. More runs on the board can only help if your team is the one scoring.

What a great fight back ML ;) Saw your result this morning. You've got to remember that despite this guy being ranked in the 600's, that was at the end of the last season, he may have had players promoted too.

Great to see you get a tie though.

What was interesting from our league is that the 5 teams (excluding the bot and the 2 newbies) in the Youth League all rated within 5k of one another. Could be a chance of promotion if you play your cards right :D

Won my game by 267 runs last. Playing a bot though. Disappointed in that my bowlers let him score 102 runs... :(

Happy with the ratings of 73K as its only a slip of 5k on my Match ratings from my last match last season and that was after I had 4 pretty good players promoted, so I recruited pretty well. Good base to work with this year ;D

Beat fletch's favourite team godgift by 147 runs :)
Didn't think I was going to win any matches haha so this is good ;D

Batted first and scored 276 runs from the 40, top scorers were Donfeld (80 from 83) and Wilkinson (me) with 70 from 50 balls.
Then bowled them out for 129 in 34 overs. Best bowlers were Nevill who got 3 for 25 from 5.2 and Maloney who got 3 for 39 from 8.

I was very surprised by my result because I was running out of bowlers that could bowl and had to play some ordin/ordin and ordin/poor. Hope I get a good youth pull on Monday.
