I agree with you, but i made the same mistake last season and I just stagnated. I went nowhere. I just want to understand why I shouldn't spend it?
If I sound angry im not, just clearing that up :)

Just take me for example, I had 600k at the start of the season, I invested into academies heaps and bought expensive players left right and centre, it sure helped my team, but I had no plan behind it and I wish I had the chance again.

If you want to really save some cash, cut YA (Youth Academy) investments.

Yeah as I haven't played enough to reap rewards from investing.
I only invest 20k in each academy.
