A couple of wickets to HP and he is back in it!

Great scores Fletch and BP.  Hopefully my batsmen can do the job and chase the 117 required for the win.

Nice start from my openers

End of over 1 (12 runs) - Valkorum(12-0). 105 runs required from 19 overs. RR 12.00 RRR 5.53
A. Findlay 3 (2b) , E. Bowstreet 9 (4b)

Fletch gets Poivedin!
No surprise he is rated 3k :P

8-6 Suited

As I said, Matthews is my hero, but age turned me off him.. Hope he does you well Fletch.

Kaushik and Baker opening for me, solid first over by the boys. Especially Kaushik. Hopefully he can get out of his form slump that has plagued him as of late.

End of over 1 (14 runs) - Tickle My Timber(14-0). 104 runs required from 19 overs. RR 14.00 RRR 5.47
K. Kaushik 13 (5b) , J. Baker 1 (1b) , V. Harris 1-0-14-0

0.5 W O'Brien to Searle : On the back foot, Searle pokes at the ball outside off stump. Out, and I doubt we'll see a worse shot than that today.

Beautiful start Johnny Boy love your work

Alex7089

Boring start for me my guys taking their time easily on the RRR no boundaries yet...

Another blistering over for me - Bowstreet scoring at will

End of over 2 (18 runs) - Valkorum(30-0). 87 runs required from 18 overs. RR 15.00 RRR 4.83
A. Findlay 4 (3b) , E. Bowstreet 25 (10b)

Very old man... 39, needs to retire.

Alex7089

Nah, the longer he waits the more pension/centrelink he gets :)

Alex7089

My boys just cruising, still no boundaries, that is OK as long as they don't go out.

ML bowler Hogan mustn't be happy about this over

End of over 3 (6 runs) - Valkorum(36-0). 81 runs required from 17 overs. RR 12.00 RRR 4.76
E. Bowstreet 28 (14b) , A. Findlay 7 (5b) , D. Hogan 2-0-18-0

2.6 1 Hogan to Findlay : Pretty ordinary ball from Hogan, which is comfortably worked away for 1.
2.5 2 Hogan to Findlay : [misfield] Nawaz kicks the ground in frustration as his misfield costs the team 2.
2.4 1 Hogan to Bowstreet : That one is tickled round the corner for another run, easy pickings.
2.3 2 Hogan to Bowstreet : [misfield] Antonio puts a foot out but can't manage to stop the ball. Perhaps he should try using his hands next time?
2.2 . Hogan to Bowstreet : A puff of dust signals Hogan's stock delivery going through the top and handcuffing Bowstreet. The ball runs harmlessly away to short fine leg.
2.1 . Hogan to Bowstreet : [dropped] Bowstreet attempts a cut and manages to get a thick edge. Hill jumps high and gets a glove to it but is unable to take the chance.

Yeah I would be fuming :P
Sayers with the first boundary of the day.
EDIT: He has opened the flood gates. Another 4, then Darya 6.
All hail king (A)!
And another 2 4's to Sayers!
50 Partnership!
haha
There is another 4.
19 off the over and the RRR plummets from 4 to 3 :D :D :D :D

8-6 Suited

End of over 3 (8 runs) - Tickle My Timber(32-1). 86 runs required from 17 overs. RR 10.67 RRR 5.06
H. Morrison 0 (0b) , J. Baker 12 (9b) , V. Harris 2-0-22-1

2.6   W   Harris to Kaushik : Good length delivery, pitched close to the off stump line and the ball nipped back in late, Kaushik is caught on the wrong foot and in the end it was a nothing shot. He leaves a yawing gap between bat and pad through which comes the dreadful sound of timber breaking.
K. Kaushik b. V. Harris 20 (9b 1x4 0x6) SR:222.22

He's gone. But it was a great start from him so I'm not too unhappy about it.

At least ML's bowler Hogan is not giving up in the field

Klibbe to Findlay : [great fielding] Well cut off in the covers by Hogan. Bowstreet sends Findlay back.

The fielders are not doing it for him but he is holding his own for the team.
