LOL!  ;D

On Beauty and the Geek - they just asked the chick "which former Australian cricketer drank more than 50 beers on a flight to London"

She answered Shane Warne  :P

*all bow to Boonie*

Need a few quick wickets

McRooster

There's one....but nxt ball -

Gregory to Saru : 96 mph! What a ball out of nowhere from Gregory! Hang on, my colleague informs me that I am reading the speed gun upside down.

96 upside down is stil 96  :P

24.4   W   O'Neill to Cooper : The stumps are demolished! Cooper thrives on width, so it was good bowling by O'Neill to stick it in the blockhole.
C. Cooper b. F. O'Neill 75 (78b 3x4 2x6) SR:96.15

Got the barbie!

24.5   4   O'Neill to Ghambir : Straight back past the bowler for four. Wonderful timing there.

Next ball though. :'(

End of over 25 (6 runs) - Hijowama County(132-3). 123 runs required from 25 overs. RR 5.28 RRR 4.92
A. Saru 4 (5b) , N. Ghambir 5 (2b) , F. O'Neill 3-0-19-1

A couple more wickets and I'm in a good position, however that RR has exceeded the RRR now, which needs to stop.

Boomz

u got ur quick wickets ;) now another couple would be good!

8-6 Suited

Yeah a few more would be ideal, or at least kill that RR down a bit.

26.1   W   O'Neill to Saru : When playing a forward defensive, it's important to keep the bat and pad together as they say. Well... they should definitely say to Saru, schoolboy error and the stumps are re-arranged.
A. Saru b. F. O'Neill 5 (7b 0x4 0x6) SR:71.43

GOT IT! There goes his best remaining batsmen too.

27.1   W   Gregory to Shinjinee : Short ball, outside off stump which Shinjinee tries to upper cut over the slips, but only succeeds in gifting a faint edge through to Phillips who does the rest.
A. Shinjinee c S. Phillips b. G. Gregory 5 (3b 1x4 0x6) SR:166.67

BANNNNNNNNNG ANOTHER ONE!

5/144 at 27.1

Yeah going alright but their are still scoring runs a little bit too easily. Hopefully Adams and Permaul can shut them down in the next spell.

End of over 29 (10 runs) - Hijowama County(157-5). 98 runs required from 21 overs. RR 5.41 RRR 4.67
N. Ghambir 20 (18b) , A. Bowden 2 (5b) , F. O'Neill 5-0-35-2

EDIT: Actually its Lidgerwood and Adams next. Adams is set to Aggressive spell while Lidgerwoods finger spin will be Defensive.

valkorum

Need a few more wickets to help slow down the run rate.

McRooster

4 nb's in the last few overs could be costly  >:(

Need to get Ghambir out as soon as possible, as the last batsmen left for these guys, he could do some serious damage to me that will be unrepairable. :(

This is why I like chasing and not batting first. :x

--------------------

32.2   6   Lidgerwood to Bowden : Like a red headed kid in summer, the ball was desperate to avoid the sun and find some shade. Lucky the stands are covered.... six runs.

LMFAO That is the funniest line I have seen so far.

32.4   W   Lidgerwood to Ghambir : [catch] There's a noise as that goes through to Phillips and Lidgerwood turns and appeals. Glove? Bat? Ghambir's arthritic wrists playing up? Doesn't matter, umpire says it's out.
N. Ghambir c S. Phillips b. P. Lidgerwood 25 (32b 5x4 0x6) SR:78.12
32.3   W   Lidgerwood to Bowden : [catch] An ugly swipe takes the top edge. Lidgerwood tracks the swirling ball and gleefully accepts catch.
A. Bowden c & b. P. Lidgerwood 12 (16b 0x4 1x6) SR:75.00

LIDGERWOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDD!!!!!!! You bloody ripper!

3 Poor and 1 Atrocious batsmen left now, should hopefully be able to wrap it up.

-----------------

They are still managing to put runs on the board. Hopefully I can get a break through quickly before too many runs are scored, or at least very little runs for the next 3 overs so that O'Neil and Permaul can pick up the tail.

   End of over 37 (5 runs) - Hijowama County(194-7). 61 runs required from 13 overs. RR 5.24 RRR 4.69
S. McAndrew 12 (17b) , F. Burns 3 (9b) , P. Lidgerwood 9-0-56-2

37.4   W   Adams to McAndrew : [catch] A lofted drive goes straight into the hands of mid-off. Permaul takes the catch comfortably and that's the end for McAndrew. He is quite unhappy with himself.
S. McAndrew c K. Permaul b. M. Adams 12 (18b 0x4 0x6) SR:66.67

There it is!

39.3   .   Adams to Pundarik : [dropped] That was a sitter, but it's been dropped! Chipped up in the air to Baker at mid on, and it's gone into his hands and right back out again.

Damn it! Nearly had them completely finished.

   End of over 40 (3 runs) - Hijowama County(199-8). 56 runs required from 10 overs. RR 4.98 RRR 5.60
B. Pundarik 1 (11b) , F. Burns 7 (15b) , M. Adams 10-1-36-1

In comes Permaul my Fast and O'Neil my Outstanding/Spectactular Medium. :D Get'em boys!

40.4   W   O'Neill to Pundarik : Loud scream for LBW. The umpire pauses for a moment before raising the finger. Superb bowling from O'Neill, getting the ball to move off the seam.
B. Pundarik lbw b. F. O'Neill 1 (12b 0x4 0x6) SR:8.33

Instant Success!

Far out... This Burns guy is kicking me ass. Has Poor batting and is smacking me around the place. Surely they can't do a 10th wicket stand with 9th and 11th batsmen for the required 49 runs. >.>

   End of over 44 (10 runs) - Hijowama County(216-9). 39 runs required from 6 overs. RR 4.91 RRR 6.50
J. Price 2 (8b) , F. Burns 21 (30b) , K. Permaul 7-0-34-1

Surreeeeeeeeeeeely not! I would hang myself..

8-6 Suited

WINNER! lol Down to the wire.

45.1   W   Permaul to Burns : A huge mix up there and Price is well short of his ground.
J. Price run out (F. O'Neill) 3 (11b 0x4 0x6) SR:27.27

End of over 46 (maiden) - Hijowama County(219-10). 36 runs required from 4 overs. RR 4.76 RRR 9.00
F. Burns 23 (34b) , K. Permaul 7.1-0-34-1
