roo boys!

Interesting idea to say the least Q :P

CrowsFan

After reading that thing on academies it may be the right move financially to not invest in the youth academy at all, but does that make the game more fun?
I think that if you are investing in the youth team then it adds that second dimension to the game because you can develop someone from just 16 years old into a gun of a player.
So for that reason I will continue to invest in my youths even if that isn't recommended

DazBurg

could take a few seasons before u start to even see any decent results

Master Q

+1 CF.

True Daz but I'll take the risk.

CrowsFan

It's an interesting idea what you are going to do Q. You just need to hope you get some good youth pulls each week to work with

roo boys!

I am going to go back to investing in youth after I have been playing for a few seasons an can afford it.

McRooster

As a comparitive - do we care more about the Socceroos or the Olyroos?

I mean we would all rather have a successful senior team, that's where the money and fame is!

How many juniors actually make the cut to the seniors and succeed in any sport? FTP included.

CrowsFan

Well that's true Roost, but I like the idea of building someone up from just 16 years old and making them good.
After all someone has to do it  ;)
