sorry benjy i outbid you on this player
Hidde Weijl

but if you tell me u need him and you bid again i promise i won't enter a bidding war will leave it be

got a fair few in the works so if you need it more then me is all

cause i went and looked at my current transfers and realized if u get all the ones i am biding on will be too much and i felt like a prick bidding on the guy after you...lol.....gotta look after the fan footy guys

btw has anyone tried on the ball?......it's a footy one like FTP....just asking cause i had a team there for over a year and a half now....played it for bout a month then didn't it check it till a few days ago and lost all my good players through free agents and now suck.... ;D

that's why i joined this FTP though cause at least all you guys on it so got people to communicate to

no, you can have him, i am mainly after bowlers as my team as acceptable batters but no bowlers, and they are only spinners or medium pacers so i need an opening bowler :(

alright then as long as you right with it...i won't feel guilty will keep my eye out for some good bowlers what level at least you looking for?....and what type?...like fast or fast medium

actually just looked at my team have 1 good batter and 2 good right arm finger spinners....lol.....so much work to be done here.... ;D

Fast medium, finger spinner and medium pace bowlers are all very common.

If you can land a Fast pacer or a wrist spinner, they are pretty rare to find. Landed myself a Fast 20 year old who will likely not feature this year. If I train him right could sell him for a hefty profit in a season or two.

If you are looking for an opening bowler, look for a talent of New Ball Bowler. They get a little increase in bowling skill when they bowl early on in a match.

Hope you two can build your team fast to be able to compete this season 8).

benjy251090

yeah, i am sure you can have him. i have 2 'reasonable' batters and only one 'reasonable' bowler but he is a medium bowler, and i have a handful of fast medium bowlers but they are all 'poor' or 'dreadful' except one who is 'average'. i want one who is 'reasonable' if possible

benjy251090

haha, i have a wrist spinner but he is 'dreadful', more of a batter

Hate when that happens :P. It happens alot from some of the players I've seen on the transfew market.

Right now only have 1 spinner who is actually in contention of bowling some spells this year ;D.

benjy251090

bought a wrist spinner that is 'reasonable'  ;D as a bonus he is an 'average' batter as well

roo boys!

How much did you pay for him?

benjy251090

i think 3,000 or something, nothing more than that so i am stoked :D

Thats alright since the market has been inflated after end of season money.

During the season I try picking up youth players to build for future years. Getting alot graduating after this year :(. At least my 2 biggest prospects (1 likely a future under 19 NAT considering fielding and the other a great bowler) are only 17 so still have a few bright seasons ahead of them.

benjy251090

this guy was 20 so still has some development in him

so HP you buy your youth from transfer market?...or is there like a way to go scouting to find youth that ain't on teams already?

roo boys!

You can recruit a youth into your squad each week but you don't get to choose really who. You just say for example: A Bowler from Scotland and you will get one. But they normally are 16 or 17 and are never really that good when you get them, they need a lot of training.
