Weird CF. Overcoming large ratings gap when you're rating 220k is obviously far easier than 120k, and maybe you're focusing more on your main? They are bizarre losses, perhaps the ME just crapped itself.

Well, you can't really comment based on what you've given us. If game you lost to Launceston Lions was on a Green and you played two spinners and he played none, then that is enough reasoning to me to suggest a result like that.


I almost lost a match in SOD earlier this season, outrating 217k to 184k. I scored 165 on a Cloudy/Crumbling, he was 125/2 in reply, and I won by one run...

Does someone want to explain what is wrong with my affiliate side? Losing matches that they really shouldn't be, which is costing me promotion to div 1 in both T20 and SOD. So far I have lost/tied these games...\

SOD
Lost to Fartland by 1 wicket - Out rated them 198k to 183k (15k gap) - very frustrating
Lost to Pedonkadonk by 36 runs - Out rated them 202k to 198k (4k gap) - no big deal really
Lost to Launceston Lions by 3 wickets - Out rated them 223k to 193k (30k gap) - what the flower!!

T20
Lost to Greendale Human Beings by 3 wickets - Out rated them 193k to 191k (2k gap) - again no big deal
Tied with Chinford Exiles - Out rated them 192k to 185k (7k gap) - frustrating, but not the end of the world
Tied with Greendale Human Beings - Out rated them 223k to 189k (34k gap) - again what the flower!

The last 2 both happened this week and killed my chances of promotion. Not happy at the moment!

So you only lost 4 games being outrated, that's cute  :P

Well my youths got mauled by 7 wickets. CF's side just mauled them :'(. Only plus was that he couldn't bowl my batters out! Nice win for you though CF!

Always hard to bowl out a side on a hard wicket, but yeah to chase down your total with 11 overs to go must have been disappointing. I did tell you that Tiger would fail though, low scoring with 18. Problem with my side though is the batting goes so deep... Panther who bats at number 8 is acc/acc :o

Just think though next year you will kill my side. If you feel like having a match where I play an U18 (with 2 19 year olds) side let me know, would be interesting to see what I rate...

Wow, IF ONLY HE WAS 16!!! Such a shame he is 17 and nearing end of the season, but still worth keeping in youths and his bowling is already at a decent level, power and xp certainly are up there! But a damn shame indeed :(.

Acc/Acc at 8 pretty much beasts every single batter I have in my side bar one if that CF :P. I'm down for an U18 match (with 2 exceptions) for you. Always handy to check up round abouts what you'd rate prior to the season, I tend to do one like 1-2 weeks out from new season as well.
