This bloke ended at 1:48. I was about to get him for 1.5mil. I checked the guy I out bid 10-20 minutes before this player ended. He was offline.

so 1:48 finish time and the clock ticks over to 1:48 with me leading bid at 1.5mil. flower YEAH BARGAIN. This flower logs in only seconds to go until finish time and keeps bidding me up.

That kid will be a GUN AR but I couldn't justify a 3.2mil payout for him after discussions earlier this week here.

Was I right to finish bidding? Kinda wish he was on my team, he'll be a star but yeah 3.2mil... I guess I can use that better elsewhere. I think what I needed to consider is, there's going to be a new week of pulls and I can just wait. I might have been a bit silly to rush into it.

So did he get a bargain? rip off? What do you think he's worth?

It's a possibility that I may have started this massive bidding for 16 year olds since I regularly paid 2mil+ that season for them (since I could), so others may have realised they need to spend heaps to get players now! :-X

Or, there has been 1 player that was a total anomaly (Chang) and 1 guy that got overs.
It's not that big a deal, there have been plenty going for normal amounts.

Reminds me, upgraded my YA to Luxurious :o. Pretty much a homegrown approach and trying to survive with a Deluxe SA and Lux YA with no calculations of expenses + 200k+ wages each week ;D. This may be a tough endeavor but I'm hoping to go double Deluxe in a season or two although may require me to sell off some of my players :'(.

From the above, Sponsorships just fall short on covering Academies, then will always make a loss considering the wages I have (for 210k+ rating Seniors and 90kish Youths). Only 1.1 Mil in the bank thus far, so may have to sell off another senior in order to make up the cash and cut wages below 200k.
