My guy = 2,000, 2,000, 2000 = 6,000 so he's essentially 2 levels of secondaries down. And based on $80 wage difference the "extra level" of tech is more like 100 points of tech once you factor in he has better keeping to boost his wage $20

every single level counts when you want to youth farm
it's not like seniors where you will train them for 10 seasons

ask HB/CF if with his 24million he went....hmm that guy is good but if i payed 1.3 i could buy 2 or 3who are kinda close but not as good

also with the secondaries it isn't as simple as saying 8000 vs 6000
depending how far along your guy is in fielding
so say he popped this monday you still have another 4 weeks of training in fielding alone your behind
and TBH with youths you want reasonable so you have at least 8 weeks of training in fielding let alone if his 2 or 3 weeks away from a pop.......soooooo basically your guy is 17 with reasonable fielding
if that is the case i can sell you an ordin/ave with reas fielding 17 year old for 200k right now if you like?

Yep agree on the whole fielding front. I basically refuse to buy 16 year old unless they have average fielding. I may stretch that and buy with ordinary if their primaries are ahead of the others, but would never buy someone with poor. Takes too much time get that up to my required level of capable.

Is Spink overpaying for his guy? I'm semi tempted just because 5,000 spare ratings and gifted tech would be nice. But IDK ave/poor.... for 600K idk I want to bid but I also don't want to bid. His secondaries are tasty.
