If you ever need help in game, my personal recommendation would be to PM PowerBug.
Great knowledge of match tactics and list management and and eager to share it - perfect mentor. :)
Thanks Sid, and yeah i will get some help from PB if need be.
I usually like to sus things out for myself to see how they work but FTP might take a bit more time  :o ;D

Looking fwd to the challenge :)

Wow umm, I'm honoured. :D

Yeah don't rush in to thing mate, starting mid season is good, just treat it is a learning period, then you can start for real next season. There's a lot to read up on and know about, and you can never know everything, even I learnt something about the game today which I didn't know existed. :)

I'll have a fair bit of spare time over the next week, so feel free to hit me up, preferably on FTP, as I'm online there all the time. :)

Highlights of my batting innings in today's SOD match. Opponent played his 2nd XI because he is still in Pav Cup, so I knew I was gonna win easy, won the toss batted first. (Windy/Crumbling)

- I lost two early wickets, 68/2 after 14 overs.
- Wardlaw and Watson combine for a huge partnership (168 runs)
- Watson makes his 29th league fifty. Of course he didn't go on to convert it into his maiden century, despite having ample amount of time. 65 (79)
- Kevin Horton (Finisher) racked up his 10th SOD duck for my club, but more impressively, it was his 5th golden duck.
- William Wardlaw decided to bat the whole 50 overs and score 160* (148)
- William Campbell in his farewell match finished 16* (10)
- Final score 311/6

Time to see how the bowling goes.

So the market is really that bad now? Not that I'm complaining too much, might be time to sell my squad haha, would make a fortune. :P I should be right to upgrade the YA from superior now, but I just wanna cofirm promotion in T20 and know that relegation is avoided in SOD first. :)

Wow he's bad. Can't believe you've been paying 10k a week for that.

PowerBug

Takes a lot to sell a club champion. :( He hardly plays either, only played 5 matches this season, Experience last popped last May, but he's probably a while from popping still :P

Unless Asif Raja is about to pull off one of the single greatest FTP innings of all time with some of the best farm striking you've ever seen I might just up and sell my entire flowering senior squad and youth farm in a couple seasons

flower

R. Curvers 5-1-18-2, T. Khaleel 0 (5b), A. Raja 26 (31b)
End of over 33 (6 runs) - New Jersey Devils(154-6). 87 runs required from 17 overs. RR 4.67 RRR 5.12

Probably going to outrate this guy too.

Tactical brilliance, and a lot of luck. :P I only pay just over $200k in wages now, $30k of which is on the youth squad.

I survive because I have this guy.

I lose him to NATs this coming week. It's actually a positive, as my opponent's best three bowlers are all fasties, so chucking a Dry deck and he will definitely play 2 of them, and I have no temptation to drop Zahra for better suited bowlers. ;D

So obviously the first week that I get rid of my third spinner William Campbell, my matches are on Windy/Slow for T20 and on Windy/Dry for SOD. ::) Granted the SOD match is my home, and I feel forced to pick a Dry as my opponent only has 2 spinners in his squad, one of which is 21yo...
