Well played PB. Outrated you by 3k but you came away with the 4 wicket win on the sticky. My openers and mid order didn't do too much and then bowlers let the boundaries flow late in the game when it looked like you were sort of on the ropes. My spinners' economy were horrible :(.

its never actually been made clear to me whether an uneven pitch gives mediums an advantage or not, i mean what would give more of an advantage, weather or pitch? (when considering a meidum vs spinner)

My U18s slowly dismantled another team today :) My spinner taking 3/16 on a Cloudy/Green somehow. And Kelaart my opening bat made 82* to take his career average up to 95.8 from 19 innings. :)

I entered this 205k - 220k rating SOD friendly league, just to play some different teams that will rate higher than me. First game today against tungsten, on a Humid/Uneven (I am so lucky). I restricted him to 172 from 49.2 overs. Zahra 5/34 (He's slowly getting better this guy), Oldfield 3/28, Kuhlengisa 2/21 (somehow). The equal 2nd highest run scorer though was Extras with 36! This is why I'm going to lose as my current position of 27/3 would look better chasing 137 as opposed to 173. :(

Did you end up winning PB?

In youth news I'm going very well in my U18 tournament winning again tonight by 7 wickets, chasing down 153 in 34 overs on a slow. Tiger and Cheetah tied for most runs getting 62 each. Amazingly Tiger faced 89 balls in total, 61 of which were dots, yet his BH talent only went off twice. Seems very low to me :(
