I don't need two keepers this guy can bat but i think given his keeping level and age i could get a bit for him and rather than playing him as a batsmen would I be better off selling him and playing a batsmen i have who is almost as good at batting and the same age?
Having a backup keeper isn't a bad thing, especially as your team gets better and maybe start playing Pavilion Cup matches more often (like round 4 appearences). But it's not necessary and I would rather have a better batsman in the side, as the wages will be lower. :)

What do you think I would get for him, and would i be better to wait until he is accomplished keeping and tech, neither is far away a few rounds at most..?

I don't think you'd get much for him, perhaps 20k from a new team that's starting off.

Also i have noticed some on my seniors at 22 and 23 in particular are getting much more fatigued than other players, one a batsmen and one a spin bowler. They have average and reasonable endurance only. Is this what is making them fatigued and what level do you want for exp/exp player at 22/23 for example.

should i just let the endurance go up as i train other things and rest them when i need to, or should i train them in fitness to a certain (what?) level
Players will get more fatigued if you don't split their bowling evenly (5 before drinks, 5 after). At 22/23 it's not worth wasting too much time on Endurance, as you want to be getting the bowling/batting/technique up. However, when you have a player that needs to play 2 games a week, and you don't enjoy having fatigue in the side, I'd look at giving them some endurance, whether it just be two weeks or go to around reliable. It's important to remember that endurance will not fix itself, even though every training schedule trains endo.

Thanks PB appreciate it, for 20K i think i'll keep the back up keeper, the batsmen i have to replace him is not as good as he is...

Master Q

1. Backup keepers can be good but if you have a decent youth (looking for one) or it is holding your team back (wages etc) you don't need one

2. Yeah you could get a bit for him

3. I usually let Endo sort itself out via other training, but when it is that low (Average at 20 is low itself) you could spend a bit of time getting it up, doesn't take long

Master Q

In other news, chased 343 on a Flat/Hot (terrible conditions for fatigue) last night and got the W by 3 wickets. Slowly climbing back up my SOD table after some BS upsets at the start of the season, best of all, closing in on Nails >:D

It's difficult to gauge whether your orders are good or not when your opponent forgets to set orders. >:(

orders or no orders, 7 overs, 5 maidens, 6 runs for 2 wickets are insane figures

End of over 10 (12 runs) - New Jersey Devils(47-0) RR 4.70
D. Oldfield 3-1-14-0, A. Lonergan 17 (32b), J. Friel 27 (29b)

Has sionce turned into:

End of over 31 (2 runs) - New Jersey Devils(87-4) RR 2.81
B. Austin 10-5-14-3, A. Lonergan 35 (88b), I. Stewart 0 (0b)

I think it's unfair for me to call my own spinners bad anymore, I've never seen a more economical set of 10 overs.

Not to me. I bought him for only 100k so that was a big profit!

Some good news for our lux academies

QuoteIt seems like FTP has given managers in Australia an unexpected late Christmas present in the form of two youth training updates.

Tomorrow I will extend this 'generosity' to all countries.

Apologies for the confusion, but it is much easier for me to give everyone two training updates than it is to rollback the second Australian training update.
