My fellas batting 2nd didn't even make an ATTEMPT to chase the total down. So much for the ME telling the batters that they need to start scoring fast

Pretty easy to explain why. Experience and power. Accomplished experience you will see most of the time, the player performs better. More power they can up the pace.

On top of that I'm guessing tactics are an issue
