BratPack

So it's top of the table day for the Pack. We bowl first and O'Brien strikes in the first over  ;D 1/6

Also these stupid side banner ads are giving me the showers

8-6 Suited

   End of over 2 (8 runs) - Tickle My Timber(17-1) RR 8.50
W. Matthews 12 (6b) , J. Baker 1 (1b) , N. Mellow 1-0-8-1

1.5   W   Mellow to Phillips : What just happened? Scenes reminiscent of Kevin Pietersen's dismissal against the West Indies. The ball rises steeply on Phillips, hitting his helmet. The helmet is subsequently cascades from his head and falls onto the stumps. Vital lesson for all the youngsters out there, always have your helmet done up nice & tight.
S. Phillips hit wicket b. N. Mellow 4 (5b 0x4 0x6) SR:80.00

-_-

8-6 Suited

Holy shower,,,

End of over 8 (24 runs) - Mike Whitney's afro!(92-0) RR 11.50
D. Fleming 64 (30b) , A. Hjaldrgoð 27 (19b) , N. Van Winden 4-0-50-0
7.6   6   Van Winden to Fleming : An old-fashioned slog back over mid-on's head for six.
7.5   1   Van Winden to Hjaldrgoð : Nudged intelligently into the gap for a leisurely single.
7.4   1   Van Winden to Fleming : Short and worked through square leg for a single.
7.3   6   Van Winden to Fleming : Nailed it. Yep - that's gone! A big, thumping strike over long-on. He just stood, swung and the ball sailed for six, several rows back.

      That is 50 runs for Fleming (51 runs, 27b 5x4 2x6) SR:188.89

7.2   6   Van Winden to Fleming : It has to be tennis out there, surely. A walloped ball sails over Van Winden's head for 6. Fleming looks very smug indeed.
7.1   4   Van Winden to Fleming : Van Winden bangs it in short but the ball doesn't rise. It sits up very nicely for Fleming who swivels and pulls the ball firmly through square leg. Top shot.

BratPack

T. de Boer 7 (17b) , E. Wrixon 1 (3b) , S. Raiteri 5-1-16-3

CrowsFan

I'm doing alright so far with my team of players I bought over the last few days.
Currently:
End of over 13 (8 runs) - The Matchbox Matadors(96-1) RR 7.38
P. Henderson 45 (35b) , D. Jasthi 7 (10b) , C. Jeffrey 2-0-15-0

8-6 Suited

End of over 16 (11 runs) - Tickle My Timber(124-2) RR 7.75
J. Baker 54 (39b) , J. McCarthy 24 (19b) , M. Skepple 3-0-29-0

Lost Matthews for 42, and Baker got his 50. Woohoo!. Hopefully he finds some good form more often.

8-6 Suited

Ooooooh yeah!

End of over 21 (22 runs) - Tickle My Timber(188-2) RR 8.95
J. Baker 103 (58b) , J. McCarthy 38 (30b) , J. Harrigan 1-0-22-0

      That is the 100 partnership (102 runs, 62b, 7x4, 6x6) SR:164.52
      That is 100 runs for Baker (103 runs, 58b, 7x4, 6x6) SR:177.59

20.6   4   Harrigan to Baker : Textbook back foot drive, standing tall with a high elbow. Baker knows how good it was, and holds the pose for the cameras as the ball bounces over the rope.
20.5   1   Harrigan to McCarthy : Straight back down the ground and the bowler is able to get a hand on it. With Baker backing up, if that had hit, he would be gone. Luckily, it misses the stumps and the batsmen pick up a single.
20.4   4   Harrigan to McCarthy : [Boundary Hitter] Much too full from Harrigan and easily driven on the off side for four.
20.3   1   Harrigan to Baker : Played along the ground just wide of Taylor at mid-on. Baker calls his partner through for a quick single. Good running!
20.2   6   Harrigan to Baker : The 12th man has his game of cards with the groundsman interrupted with the opportunity to catch the ball. Unfortunately for his team, it was a 6..... and he dropped it.
20.1   6   Harrigan to Baker : That has gone very, very high up. The fielder waits underneath it at long on, but it just clears his outstretched hands.

Way to bring up the 100 run partnership, and to skip the nervous 90's quickly. :D

Boomz

R. Ellis 0 (0b) , E. Wrixon 28 (44b) , U. Sherlock 3-2-5-1

24.6 W Sherlock to de Boer : [catch] Drifting into de Boer before spinning away, he fails to move his feet and, wrongly trying to work it to leg, gets an audible outside edge and off he goes.
